Stains
This stains everything and is really messy. The effect isn’t purple at all for the mess. Avoid.

A Soft Pop of Purple & A Whole Lot of Shine: My Go-To Hair Refresh Ritual
Let me start by saying: I’m not quite brave enough yet to go full purple... but I’m definitely flirting with the idea. In the meantime, this Herbishh Koloret Keratin Color Depositing Hair Mask has become my favorite low-commitment way to give my hair a soft, subtle tone—and a whole lot of love. I usually leave it on just for a few minutes, mostly to tone and refresh rather than fully color. The result? A delicate lavender sheen that cools down my blonde and gives it that fresh-from-the-salon vibe without ever stepping out of the house. It’s like a mini makeover in the shower. But here's the thing—it’s so much more than just a color mask. It smells amazing (like spa-day nice), goes on smoothly, and leaves my hair feeling ridiculously soft. It’s like a deep-conditioning treatment that just happens to also whisper, “I’m a little bold, but not too much.” The keratin-rich formula makes my dry ends feel nourished and smooth, and there's zero stiffness or crunch after rinsing. Just silky, toned, glossy hair that feels brand new. One of these days, I will be brave and leave it on for the full recommended time to get that bold, vibrant purple. But until then, this little habit of mine—quick tinting, gentle toning, and pampering in one—has become one of my favorite parts of my hair care routine. Whether you're going full unicorn or just looking to freshen things up with a bit of shine and tone, this hair mask is a gem.

It's for already purple hair, not dark hair
Hey there, fabulous readers! I can totally see you thinking, "Wait a minute, this isn't designed for dark hair!" And you're right—it’s really meant to maintain a vibrant bright purple color in your hair. But you know how it goes; there’s always someone who decides to give it a go on dark locks and ends up letting loose in the reviews when it doesn't turn out how they want it to. I tried it on my Level 5-6 hair to hopefully prevent some of that. I left it on for about 15 minutes, which is longer than recommended. It didn't seem to harm my hair. It left the faintest purple tinge around the scalp and seemed to make the strands a little darker, but nothing purple was noted and that's OK because it wasn't supposed to. The area I used it on was much softer once I rinsed it out and it was easy to brush through. I had purple strands a few years ago and this is making me want to go back to that just to see if I can maintain that color longer with this product. If you have purple hair and want to maintain your color, give it a whirl.

LOVE that this helps hydrate and allows my hair to be renewed
When you are dying your hair a fun color (like purple) it can be hard to keep up as it tends to fade pretty quickly. I LOVE this to help with that! I love that while it is softening my hair and helping repair any damage that there may be, this also deposits color to help my hair keep the purple color longer! The longer I use it, the more the purple seems to sink in and the better my hair looks! I no longer stress about how long between dye jobs I have, I can now use this to help my hair come back to life with the color of my dreams! I don't want to use it TOO often, but I do like to use this when it starts to noticeably fade and renew the color. It's a winner for me! I hope it comes out in more colors as well! A Pink or a Red, or even a green would be nice!

Stains everything it comes in contact with and does provide color to the hair
First and foremost, you should know that the color stains your hands and bathtub but does come off with bleach. I wasn’t sure how to use this product and thought it was like a conditioner hair dye. It is not. It does not have a conditioner consistency at all. It has a hair dye consistency. I have darker hair and had dyed my hair with another brand of semi-permanent purple. I thought I would use this after a few washes to keep the purple. Well, I used it while I was in the shower which was my first mistake. My second was not using gloves. It stained everything it came in contact with. I threw away the box but the bottle does not say to don gloves. It should. I left on for about 10 mins then washed off. I like the idea of being able to use in damp hair as it’s easier to move the color around. But it’s still hard to do by myself as it stained my head and ears as well. It’s easier to use like regular hair dye, in a chair with a drape around you. The scent is not bad. It doesn’t smell like chemicals but it doesn’t smell fruity either. It smells like a bland shampoo. It did not dry out my hair and I was able to see the purple was brighter after using. The color doesn’t last though but I didn’t expect it too. It lasted about 8-10 washes.it works better than I thought it would but I wish the directions were more clear on how to use. Do NOT use in the shower unless you want to bleach the entire thing after.

It's a no from me
This didn't do anything that regular conditioner doesn't already do. There was very very minimal color too. It's messy to apply with all the color, yet nothing shows up on your hair. This product just isn't worth it for me.

Great for between salon visits
I am reviewing this Herbishh Koloret Keratin Color Depositing Hair Mask. This is a 2-in-1 Deep Conditioner that is great for my Dry Damaged Hair. This is the Purple color option that comes in a 3.5 fl. Oz tube. I like to color my hair purple and I ordered this product to help keep my color refreshed. This is easy for me to use, just Apply onto clean towel-dried hair, leave on for about 10 minutes to allow pigments to set up, and then rinse off. I like that this product is formulated without harsh chemicals as I am trying to be more conscious of what products I use. This is just a temporary color that will fade over time but it helps keep my dyed hair looking better between salon visits. When it fades I can reapply as needed until it's time to dye it again.

Pleasantly surpised!
Giving that this is advertised as a color deposit hair mask and not a direct hair dye, I wasn't sure of how good the color payoff was gonna be. I have a purple to blue ombre hair, pre-bleached so I waited until the color had faded out to a very dull greyish purple with some blue undertones before trying out this product. I followed the instructions and washed my hair with a clarifying shampoo, did not use conditioner and towel dried it. The consistency is perfect, not too thick and not too runny, it makes it easy to saturate the hair even if you're just using your hands to apply it by sections. I combed through after applying, for my hair quantity, which is thin, I used a bit more than half to cover my hair and saturate it. I left it in for about 40 min which is more than the 10 min recommended in instructions. It doesn't have a smell which is a good thing to many people, I personally didn't mind it and it rinsed well under cold water, there was color coming out so it wasn't a completely clean rinse. The results were great, first of all, it left my hair feeling super soft and without the usual frizz I get because I have curly hair, it totally covered the old dark greyish hair dye at my roots and leveled it up with the purple left over I had at my mids, it left my hair vibrant and refreshed, which is exactly what it advertises. The color is also beautiful, a warm toned purple. Now, if you're wondering how this looks like in bleached blonde hair, I got you! As I also tested it in blonde extensions, left it only for 15 minutes and rised, the color payoff was not any different than if I had used direct hair dye. I am very satisfied with this product, I wish they also had a vibrant blue avaible! If you're looking to refresh your hair dye color, dye it from bleached or add a purple tone while also moisturizing your hair, you will like this product.

Effective for refreshing already colored hair; Easy to stain tub and skin
This color-depositing hair mask is handy for rejuvinating previously dyed hair that has faded or dulled. It is used on damp hair after shampooing and before conditioning. It is easy to apply; the consistency isn't too dense or oily, and it disperses into the hair well. As long as instructions are followed, enough is used based on how much hair you have, it is left in for 10+ minutes, and so long as your hair is in fact dyed, it does as it is intended to do. Results are obviously less prominent for those like myself who have darker hair, but it is enough for my preferences. The longevity is alright. I wash my hair once a week to keep it from fading too quickly, but even with my infrequent hair washes, the effects of the mask seem to wane after a few washes, which is a common issue with dyes and deposits for colors like purple. What I do not like about this mask is, first and foremost, how messy it is. I got the purple one, and within literal seconds of contact on my white shower/tub and my skin, it stained. It has, mostly, faded after a month or so off my tub with vigorous scrubbing, but beware of this before using as it may permanently stain certain surfaces. Also, I have found that after use, it leaves my hair feeling heavy and slightly oily once dry.

Works very well on pretreated hair colour
I’ve been dyeing my hair in the red/purple range for years, and I can confidently say it’s one of the hardest colors to get just right. Like most color advertisements, the results are often exaggerated, and this one is no different. There’s no product out there that will give you that shade of purple without first using bleach or a developer. I usually mix semi-permanent purple with my red color because I love the depth and richness it adds. This was my first time using the Herbish Koloret Keratin Color Depositing Hair Mask, and I was not disappointed. The texture is thicker than my usual brand, and there’s no scent, which is great. The bottle is about the same size as the one I typically use, and since I have long, thick hair, I used the entire bottle to cover it all. I do use a developer for my permanent red/purple color, so when I apply semi-permanent or mask color, it tends to give me better results. After applying the mask, I left it on for 30 minutes and rinsed it with lukewarm water (avoid hot water, as it can strip the color). The outcome was even better than I expected—it really enhanced my color. The keratin made my hair incredibly soft and shiny. I’m very pleased with the result, and it gave my hair color a lovely, vibrant boost.
