Wind in when windy.
Love this awning staff were fantastic with any questions and replied promptly. I had a product issue with 1st one they organised replacing with in couple of days. Very good strong product just wind it out covers a big area and wind it back. Never use in high winds. Respect the awning and will give years of service. Gives shade and is very waterproof.

You will probably need better fixings
The fixings are not long enough. We had to buy longer ones, however I'm very pleased with the awning. it looks good.

Looks stunning up. Install was easy. Note instructions for sleeve / expansion bolts lack a little...instert bolt into hole, tighten up bolts till you can't tighten them any further ....loosen nut, remove nut circlip washer and one of the larger washers. Now put bracket onto bolts (note the two raised grooves go to the bottom) tighten up bolts. My son and I installed this 3.5 meter awning in less than two hours ( this included adjusting arms and pitch...I am a 57 yr old lady) . Quality of unit for price is excellent, all components are well made . Note, if installing on pebbledash, use a small chisel and chip out a few stones for each bracket foot...this allows a nice level footing and prevents your drill bit sliding off a stone and into a neibouring hollow. I have had so many lovely comments about this canopy...it really is well worth the money

If well looked after 10 plus years.
Highly recommend, i bought it 4 years ago and keep going strong.What i would recommend is use a cover and silicone the screws hold it in the wall if not covered from rain. So they wont rust. I would assume 10 plus years from them.
