US power cable
US power cable! This was not clear in the product details or post. Opened the box late and now I’m stuck with this appliance that I cannot use in UAE.

Does not fit
Voltage is 110v. This product sold by Amazon US is rated for 110 Volts only and will not work in Europe/ Asia where 220 Volts is the standard. The product description does not mention it anywhere.

Item is NOT for UAE!
Item is defective - when we checked upon delivery was ok, but when switched on for use after a week it exploded and smelled burned inside!! It turned out it’s not designed for use in UAE - only in USA due to socket voltage difference

A brilliant, easy to use yogurt maker with easy , exact temperature control and designed for extended fermentation periods. This is the second one I bought as my wife has jumped on the bandwagon too after seeing positive health results in me . Obviously it’s not only the yogurt but it makes following Dr Willam Davis’s super gut protocols easier with the array of mono culture ‘yogurts’ he recommends.

There is no specification detail shown in the Add, you learn upon receipt (Ten day wait) that the item is made and shipped from the USA. Fitted with an American power lead and designed for 120 volt operation, it cannot be used on UK 240 volts without a step down transformer. This will take the final price to over £100. Not a good deal at all for what is simply a temperature controlled heater, even if it is the only one available at the moment.
