Don't waste your time and money going elsewhere
What a fantastic product, I was unsure with the selection of products on the market, the reviews and cost, but I went for the more expensive and wow... Amazing!!!! I pipped 2 kg of cherries in 15 minutes and it was fun not a chore, it was efficient the light spray was about 10 cm but hardly anything, cherries were whole when pipped, I washed bagged and froze within 30 minutes. Brilliant choice am buying one for my daughter. Why did you choose this product over others?: I had a lot of cherries, and needed a good product

a great little gadget
we purchased this so we could make cherry jam, it was such a good little gadget I only got to stone one cherry, my husband hogged it.

FIRST Check size of cherries/olives you plan to purchase!
The quality I great. Lovely widget. BUT it is too small for new M & S cherries. Plans to make Spicey Cherry Chutney went wrong when could not get the cherries in!! Very sad! Also if very ripe cherries prepare for mess. Obviously different performance expected with small firm olives!!

Good idea but let down by build quality
Like the previous reviewer's experience, the spike came off the top lever after a few uses. It removed cherry stones quite well otherwise. Shame about the build quality. Returned to Amazon and got a full refund.

Totally disappointed, the actual pitting spike came away from the hand lever after about 8 uses,pushed it back but still loose and comes out if it meets any opposition from the stone. The stone exit is too small and is only good for small cherries as large stones jam and the the whole thing jams on the pittar.I would have returned the item but the postal cost makes this pro-hibative so its down in the book as another waste of money.

Cherry Pitter.
I like it because it is the only Pitter that works on firm cherries like Bing and Queen Ann. This is my second Leifheit. The pronge broke off my first one while I was pitting Bing cherries this summer. I glad I was able to find your company.
