The tongue of the lining is loose almost to the toe so if they don't tuck it in, it folds over and feels very uncomfortable. Even as an adult trying to help, the tongue is hard to get in the right place and have it stay there while closing the clasps. The clasps can be tightened too much and then the one that holds it in place before you close it can fold right at the bottom. Then they don't work well because they can't be tightened like they need too. Be Carful not to overtighten and bend that piece. These are not super spendy skates but they do the trick.
