Product arrived really quick, packaging was great! Product was easy to install, quick connectivity, design and comfort is great! But as for functionality, after I installed them into my motorcycle helmet I noticed one of the speakers is very soft or muffled, it’s barely half as loud as the other speaker. My product is eligible for return/replaced by July 19. I opened the product July 4. It is now July 7. I cant seem to contact the seller directly, but I requested a return/replacement through amazon. It drives me nuts riding and only one side of my helmet has music and the other side sounds more like a faint echo, if even that. I tried adjusting my settings on spotify and youtube music to see if it was the platform I use to stream my music but that isn’t the case. After a couple of days that faint speaker actually cut out for 10 minutes while riding. It continued to cut in and out during use before I reached out to customer support. I would like someone from Syphon Sound to contact me asap about this problem. I would like a replacement, if not, then a refund would suffice. Either or, id like to resolve this issue instead of waiting around not enjoying the product as it is intended. Update as of July 30, 2025: I got in contact with Travis from Customer Support of Syphon Sound. He was VERY helpful and kept an open line for communication. He advised me to send my unit to them and either they will fix my unit and resend me the same one back OR they will send me a new unit. I sent my faulty unit to their address (at my expense) on the 15th and it got there on the 21st. They sent another unit out to me on the 22nd and I received my new unit on the 26th. I’ve reinstalled them into my helmet on the 28th. So far, this unit works so much better than the first one. Both speakers are equally loud and clear. We shall see how well they hold up through time. I hope this is a new unit as I dont know for sure, if they just fixed my old one and sent me the same one back. If this unit craps out in under 6 months then I will know for sure that these speakers are not built to last. I will just have to wait and see how well they hold up. I REALLY hope it WON’T be the case of Skull Candy Brand headphones that are built with great sound but doesn’t last after a while. I messaged Travis for a follow up asking what was the issue with the first unit but he only told me the tech noted it was faulty with no other details or info that could’ve caused it to crap out on me. I will come back to edit this review if something happens in the near future. But for now, I will change my two star review to a 5 star review. Only because they corrected the problem and was very prompt with communication and quick to send me a “replacement” only after they received my unit. Second Update as of December 28, 2025. Speakers are holding up well, still loud and crisp. I use it 5 of 7 days a week. I ride to and from work daily on my bike as it is my only transportation. Always listening to music while I ride has transformed my riding experience. It’s safe to say that these speakers are great and I am still a satisfied customer. They handle well in rain, shine, wind, and everything in between.

I bought this for my second helmet which is a HJC I-11 I ride on a naked street bike. It Fits the form fitted speaker mounts great even with enough room for the cushioned speaker pads. Great sound even with a little wind noise easily over volumes the wind. Nicely mounts and like that it can adjust song selection and volume with an easy rotation of the mounted power unit. I did not want a unit to talk on the phone or talk to others if in a group. For me this was great. I have two other helmets that have communication Sena units and these speaker are far louder than either of those units. It comes with 3 mounting options. A spacer that can be used to move the speaker toward ear, no spacer and mount just the speaker pod, or snap on the speaker cushion to add a little bass tune to the speaker or a combo of this to fit properly to your helmet to ear spacing. Simple Bluetooth connection with a simple pairing to phone to playing unit. For $199 super fast free shipping through Amazon made this even batter.

I just bought these and been using them for a week now. They suck!!! They let in too much sound from the muffler and wind (YES they were installed correctly). When I tried using on a phone call, other party said too much wind noise and my voice sounded muffled. It was also hard for me to hear what they were saying. Hefty price tag for something that doesn’t work correctly. May I add that even though you add their “bass” ear cushions, they really make no difference with or without them. I’d say these would be good for about $40 but for $200 HAHA hell no. Don’t waste your money

Price is a bit atrocious hence the 4 stars, but these are nice, fit well, easy install, good battery life and sound quality with easy controls

Tried the Syphon Sound-Pro in my new Harley Davidson 3/4 helmet. Way better sound than my Sena 20s evo. Clear music or speech. Loud. I need to keep my Sena at 100%. Only about 60% with the Syphon. No comms but great sounds. The fit is geed too.

Instant bluetooth connection, have never had anything pair this quickly. Clear sound, can be turned up way louder than I would even need. There is a mic in the ear piece that is basically pointless, can’t communicate on phone calls can only listen, but for just music they are great

These did not fit into my Shoei helmet at all. The foam covers feel outdated—like something from the Walkman era—and could definitely use improvement. The included Velcro tape doesn’t hold very well either. While the sound quality is good, there needs to be a better way to secure them in place. They came loose while I was wearing them and started moving around inside the helmet, creating uncomfortable pressure points on my ears. They do sound good, so I may try them in my backup helmet to see if they work better there. Overall, I would have returned them, but since they’ve already been used, that’s not an option.

When I first installed this kit, to be honest… I wasn’t super impressed and was going to return them. Then I shifted the placement and ensured the foam/leather covers butted up against my ears. Volume almost doubled, I don’t need to wear earplugs anymore either as the foam/leather covers completely block the wind. Sure, they are a little pricey, but after this long trip (300mi), my mind has been changed. They are comfortable when your helmet is fully snug, and the quality blows away the BT on my other helmet. AND, most importantly, people can actually understand you when talking on BT. It doesn’t have a visible microphone, most likely built into one of the speakers. I’ve also never had ANY Bluetooth device connect to my phone so fast… it’s actually incredible. It literally connects while it’s says “pairing”, not having to wait ten seconds (I know… first world problems), but it does connect instantly. I will still say, as a true Audiophile… the tonal accuracy just isn’t there, it’s very flat… stale like a loaf of bread left open for 3 days. And for the most volume you can actually get, set the iPhone’s EQ to FLAT. I feel it’s a bit overpriced, but isn’t EVERYTHING these days?

Really happy to have music in my helmet now, I can hear my music pretty clear up to around 160km/hr. Connects quickly to my phone and was super easy to install.

I've had three Sena units but the Syphon SoundPro wins with better sound quality and volume.
