Great taste and flavor.
This is an excellent product. Flavor is delicious. Great for camping, hiking, or just for a quick satisfying meal when you don't feel like cooking. I sent these out with our local fire station crew on a survival campout. The men came back raving about the ease of preparation and the unbelievable taste of homemade. Will buy this over and over for my emergency stash as well. 25 year shelf life. How can you go wrong.

Too tasty - I’m weak and have to keep re-stocking!
The Mountain House chicken and dumplings are so good, that I make them for lunch or dinner and before I know it, I have nothing left for emergency meals. They are so simple to make. I heat water in my kettle or the Keurig, add it to the bag, stir it and wait 10 minutes to dig in. I keep some in my cart or saved for later so that I can jump on them whenever there’s a good price. It’s cheaper, better and faster than Door Dash. I have a hearty appetite, so I eat the whole bag by myself, but I can see where they could make two meals. If I am lucky enough to have any on hand when and if there is no power, I would just add room temperature water and let it soak longer. It would still be tasty and good to eat. They are also perfect to have on hand for anytime you are under the weather and can’t cook..

Bird meets bread. The truth unfolds.
What came 1st? The chicken or the biscuit? Who cares because within the mountain house pouch the two worlds collide. Excellent tasting product! They've gone up a little in price, but what hasn't? Still a good value for the quality & amount you get. Especially when you compare with other name brands. If you can plug in your toaster you can prepare these just as easily. Great for hiking, camping & as some emergency preparedness. Great product.

Delicious!!
I bought these for my emergency preparedness kit. I went on an emergency trip to California and just grabbed a few because I was car camping in a hospital carpark to be close to my sister. They ended up coming in very handy. I was very surprised at how good the meals were. It says each packet is two servings, but it was just one dinner for me. Highly recommend for camping, emergency food supply or just a quick meal at home when you don't want to cook. Just add warm water and the freeze dried food reconstitutes and is very fresh. The chicken tastes like chicken and the veggies were bright and delicious. This is the only one I have tried. Can't speak for the other meals they offer. Highly recommend.

Yummy
My first experience eating freeze dried. It was tasty! Makes me wanna go camping just to have it again. Knocking one point just because of price. I can get a nice can of chili for 3-4 bucks, so not sure why the dried stuff is more expensive.
