This is great! My daughter has a small room and closet. This is PERFECT for extra space! Takes awhile to put together but it's super sturdy and looks great.

Over the years I’ve probably assembled a couple dozen “furniture-in-a-box” products. Tables, desks, file cabinets, beds, TV stands, a vanity, a baby crib, a $2000 outdoor play set in the back yard. This one was probably the most challenging of all, mainly due to the particularly flimsy MDF material. I wasn’t expecting oak planks, but though the instructions themselves were pretty easy to understand, due to the fastening method, the materials and, I believe, the order in which the instructions walked you through the process, this was more difficult than it needed to be. I feel like the outer frame should have build first, followed by the shelving and other components. However this would’ve required more sturdy materials. Beware that Step 17 is a potential relationship killer. My wife and I struggled for 20-30 minutes trying to line things up to put the sides on. The toughest part about it was fear that one inadvertent slip was going to bust one of the lock screw connections out of the MDF. Overall I did get it put together; probably took 4-5 hours total. I did everything solo with the exception of the sides. I think it will serve its purpose, which was to give my daughter a little more space for clothes. It actually looks good, but even fully assembled still feels a little flimsy (not in the sense that it’s going to fall apart, but just very light and easy to move for its size. Hopefully it’ll get my daughter through high school. The product arrived overnight and on time, which was great since I was able to assemble it today while my daughter is at a youth conference. In summary, for the price it’s a decent product, but I came within a hairs breath of boxing it back up and telling Amazon to pick it up. If I was looking to put something like this in another room I would not buy this again, but would spend more money on something with engineered wood (which I had actually set as one of my filters when searching Amazon, but I think ai probably changed pages or something and, in vintage Amazon fashion, this unit was displayed at the top as a “sponsor”. We liked the style/appearance of this one and the price was on sale, so we bought it, but didn’t realize it was MDF.
