Feel Way Safer Using Sharp Tools
These cut-resistant gloves are one of those things you don’t realize you need until you use them. They make working with sharp knives, mandolins, and graters feel a lot less stressful. They’re very cut-resistant, but still flexible enough that you don’t feel clumsy wearing them. I can slice vegetables, use the mandolin, and even handle shellfish without feeling like I’ve lost control or dexterity. The fit is snug and comfortable, and the grip is good without being bulky. I like that they’re food safe and can be worn on either hand, which makes them easy for anyone to use. They’re also breathable, so my hands don’t get sweaty like they do with heavier gloves. Another big plus is that they’re machine washable. I’ve tossed them in the wash a few times, and they come out looking and feeling just fine, which makes them easy to keep clean. Overall, these gloves give great peace of mind when working with sharp tools in the kitchen. If you use a mandolin, grate cheese often, or just want a little extra protection while prepping food, these are absolutely worth having.

After reading the good and not so good reviews about the gloves I ...
I was looking for gloves to protect my fingers when using my mandolin. After reading the good and not so good reviews about the gloves I decide to give them a try. They work really really well for protecting my finger tips from the blade. Yes, if one tries to purposely cut into the gloves it will happen. Who will on purpose try to damage the glove while wearing them to protect ones hands. the thinking behind the idea of running a knife or screwdriver through the glove with force to see if it will tear is kind of stupid. What would not tear with force and determination. They fit like a glove, nice and snug so you have more feeling in the finger tips to know when your fingers are coming very close to the blade. Even if the gloves slides over the blade, which means that my fingers are not and that has a number of times I am not so worry that I will see red. I do not like wasting food, so now I do not waste any of the vegetables that in the past did not get sliced in my mandolin. I am still careful while wearing the gloves but I can slice what ever to the ever end of the nub. I think the gloves fit true to size but I have small hands and I like that the gloves fit snug, it allows for me the be able to feel objects and the blade before I am sorry and have cut the gloves. I bought a pair for my husband and 14 year old son to use in the workshop when using the table saw and any other blade equipment (band saw, scroll saw, grinder). It will not stop a serious accident I suspect but if it will lessen and even better yet prevent minors accidents then the gloves will have done what it claims. That is money well spent. Price of the gloves is nothing to a the cost of an emergency visit for a few stitches or shearing the finger tips off and dealing with the pain and inconvenience until it heals. These gloves are I think not meant to give you a sense of falls protection but a feeling of my hands are protected from minor carelessness. Buy these gloves and protect your hands. Have not used them on shucking oyster or anything else sharp but I sure they will serve its purpose. Did use it to pick up broken glass and was happy I did not get a piece of glass embedded in my finger. I think any one buying these gloves will not be sorry for the reasons of protecting theirfingers from danger.

Great way to keep your hands safe.
Fantastic gloves. After a few incidents in the kitchen with a mandolin, we decided to give these gloves a try, and we have not been disappointed. They fit even on fairly large hands, and they are very comfortable and easy to work with. These are great for keeping your hands safe from accidental cuts and scrapes while working in the kitchen. My only complaint is that I like to wear food service gloves when cooking, and I need to buy bigger ones to fit over the gloves. If I don't, the gloves get dirty easily and need to be washed frequently.

Nice safety gloves
They work well and are fairly comfortable. It’s easy to grip whatever you’re cutting and they do provide good protection in minor knife slips. Due to arthritis in my hands, knife slips have become a bigger risk and the gloves provide me the protection needed to safely use knives.

Good product
Good and sturdy gloves. These gloves do in fact work as advertised in protecting the fingers with sharp tools like the mandolin slicer, however they are not cut proof, but they are cut resistant, so caution must still be applied as if you were not wearing gloves. The material was cut, but the gloves did protect my thumb from being cut and for that I give these gloves a big thumbs up for doing their job. 👍 I'm back bragging about these gloves again, there has been a few more times my fingers would have been severely cut but the gloves took the cut and my fingers are still safe. I highly recommend these gloves to protect your fingers from that Julian slicer.

Great hand protection
Just what I needed to give me confidence and secure feeling in using my ceramic knife again. Recently had a. Laceration to my thumb joint requiring stitches. Now I feel safe wearing the glove holding the vegetable or meat I am cutting. Great product for the price. Laundries well, great fit, is not stuff, full finger protection, no packaging odor, will get wet/moist with handling washed vegetables, so needs frequent laundering. So far is durable. Will see after several laundring . Definitely an excellent tool in my kitchen.

No more kitchen cuts (please)
These are good and my wife wears them all the time. She says they are not annoying when handling food. She typically just wears one fwiw.

Made for narrow hand with really really long fingers
Gloves are well made but sizing is interesting. I have a smallish hand and ordered accordingly per the size chart. The gloves are tight across the hand ( I can get it on but it is snug - might loosen with a few wearing) but the glove fingers are nearly an inch beyond my fingers and I don’t have stubby fingers. I was able to scrunch the fingers down (again - snug). To size up might work for the hand width but then the fingers would be way too long. I will try to make these gloves work but I won’t be buying again or recommending them.

Funzionano bene
Gli ho usati con il mio mandoline e mi proteggono bene. Ho sempre un po' di paura perche e' tagliante, perche i guanti sono morbidi e non sembrano che possono fermare una lama. Ma fanno, e finalmente riesco ad usarlo.

Great for protecting hands from sharp knives
If you are like me and prone to cutting yourself when preparing food in the kitchen, then you too will find these gloves a heaven send. They fit firmly around the palm and fingers and honestly take away the feeling of anxiety when dealing with sharp knives or objects in the kitchen. They are so easy to wash after being in contact with raw meat and are made to last. I only wish I had discovered these sooner.

Keep Your Fingers with These Gloves—A Kitchen Essential
Bought these cut-resistant gloves after witnessing a friend have a nasty accident with a mandoline slicer. Got them for my wife to make sure she stays safe while slicing up fruits and veggies. Happy to report that even when the mandoline gave the gloves a few good whacks, her fingers were perfectly fine—not a scratch. These gloves aren't just for the kitchen, though. They're food safe, approved by various government bodies, and really affordable. I’d say they’re a must-have for anyone doing craft work or anything else involving sharp objects. The material is tough enough to prevent cuts, which makes them pretty valuable for any risky tool use. They're lightweight, not cumbersome at all, so wearing them while working is a breeze. If you’re using a mandoline or handling sharp knives, these gloves are worth their weight in gold. Just remember, they’re cut-resistant, not cut-proof, so still be cautious. But overall, an excellent protective gear. Highly recommend!
