Why the remote control not operating properly or not responding at all?

Make sure there are no obstructions between the Bob and Brad foot massager and the remote itself. The foot massager remote controls use infrared (IR) technology, which means they need to be aimed directly at the device you want to control. If there is an obstruction between the remote and the foot massager you're trying to control, your commands will not work. - Bob and Brad Team
