I was disappointed that it did not perform 100%
On receiving the CD player I thought it looked to be a good purchase especially as the price was excellent. It tied up immediately with my computer and seemed to be in excellent working order. However on downloading the first CD it refused to go any further than three quarters of the CD when it appeared to stick and made a clicking sound. Thinking that the CD was causing the problem I tried a further four CD’s but the result was just the same. I then took the decision to return the player which I did today.

Made Burning CDs possible with new laptop
Having previously buying a model which turned out to be pretty rubbish, I hoped for something better, and I got it, I have used this loads of times now and it continues to work well, despite dropping it on floor a times!, the cable is quite short and when you move suddenly it goes flying, having bought a laptop with no cd drive this has proved invaluable.

Good Company
AMENDED - following my initial review the company got in touch willing to send out a new item free of any charge. I am happy with this and will test the new one, posting feedback on it when I have a result.Awful.. only used a few times and it started playing up, few times more and connection point on the item broke. NOT HAPPY AND DO NOT BUY!

This is an attractive addition to our computer equipment and it worked perfectly when we watched our first DVD. I chose this above the others because it had a comprehensive write-up on the Amazon selling page and it seems well-worth the extra price.

Great product with easy to use design
Nice easy to use clamshell design which are better I think with a laptop because they work on any surface. The ones that slide out are only really for hard surfaces.

Superb USB disc drice
Excellent drive enabled me to read a number of DV discs on my new PC which did not have a drive. It worked perfectly from one USB port and did not need to get its power supply from a second port. A cable is supplied if you need to do this. It is truly just 'Plug and Play'
