A bit sceptical, but....
I was a bit skeptical about this purchase but I read a few positive reviews and decided to give it a go and I am happy to say this is an excellent pickup, at any price. The build quality is second to none. It replaced a boomy neck paf pickup in my Burny les Paul. It is warm, full and has a tighter low end, not boomy at all, I could not be happier with it. I have Duncan’s and Gibson pickups in other guitars and this pickup is every bit as good for a fraction of the cost. I have these for a few weeks now and I liked these so much I bought the bridge pickup also, popped the set in a prs s2 custom 24 that I wasn't jelling with, and boy these pickups have brought the prs to life. They split really well also, middle or bridge is like a tele, nice for chicken picking and bluegrass etc. These pickups take high gain very very well also. My prs is very versatile now, and can cover a lot of genres.

Absolutely perfect.
The pickup has been installed in a Les Paul replica as a replacement for a "Super Distortion" style pickup and its really opened the sound up giving the guitar more presence, more response to dynamics and more sustain. Absolutely perfect.

Richtig gut!

Great guitar kit upgrade
Great sound for my archtop kit. I put this together last summer. I always loved this body style and built this one for slide guitar. I thought the volume and tone pots were of poor quality, lots of static and general noise issues. I was not looking forward to replacing them on this guitar, they are an unpleasantness beyond description. I also wanted a little hotter pickup for some growl. I replaced the neck and bridge with toneriders, I am super pleased I did. The sound difference is unbelievable! They opened everything up and really picked up the bottom end. Plussssss all my noise and static issues disappeared. Yeahhhfor me.
