What Do You Need to Know? *by J***E on July 7, 2018* Amazon, apparently, needs a review on every item they sell; otherwise, why do they nag...and nag...and nag? So here is my review relative to a bag of small items i purchased called "screws." These items have a round "head" containing slots which are developed for use by a specialized, removable controlling tool called a screwdriver. While positioned vertically, beneath the aforementioned head is a vertical shaft around which there is a spiral groove. At the bottom, the shaft narrows to a point which, when pressure is applied, can slightly penetrate a piece of wood. The very purpose of the "screw" is to hold two pieces of wood together so it is very important to make certain that the length of the shaft of the screw is longer than the depth of the first piece of wood with additional length to penetrate a substantial portion of the second piece. At this point, fit the tip of the above-mentioned "screwdriver" tool into the head of the screw and turn the head of the screw in a clockwise direction. This will force the spiral groves of the screw into the wood. Continue turning the screw until the head is firmly on the first piece of wood. This effort should gave also forced the screw deeply into the second piece of wood as well. If this was properly done, you will have succeeded in permanently connecting the two pieces. The job of wood connecting which I had planned is completed and the screws have functioned well. All of my wood pieces are still properly connected and, if you wish to complete a similar project, I can recommend them to you. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Decent screws at a good price. *by M***0 on March 6, 2022* They do the job.
