After reviewing the myriad of like products I went for this. Now I have it in my hands - it is well made for what it is. And although one of the most expensive, it had unanimous reviews of praise... and I thought that the years of service it will give me will make the price look value for money. After all, this is a product that you don't want to fail at the least appropriate time!... therefore, money well invested! It also folds for easy storage, but would be even better if they could make a shorter folding version.

I needed to be a self-sufficient camper when visiting a friend recently [exiting 3rd UK lockdown] so I needed a toilet. I wanted one that would not take up too much space when packed away and this is perfect. Bin liner covers the seat and rests on the floor so I didn't feel like I needed a bucket underneath. I used cat litter to handle the whiff as suggested by a friend so no problem not to have a lid. Used with a toilet tent, this was actually quite nice. I was camping on my own though I this might be a different review when I camp with my husband and son!

Much smaller footprint for the car than boxy all-in-one loo units.Two options Simply wrap a bag over the seat and maybe place the bottom of the bag in a bucket to stop any waste moving around.Or, place a bag in a bucket and place this under the seat.However the second option requires you to source a bucket that fits just under the seat rim.My only gripe is that a better design would feature a secondary rim under the seat to tuck waste bags in to.

Went to a festival and I really couldn't bare to use the porta loos, so I bought one of these as I didn't want a big portable toilet to carry across the festival, it's light, doesnt take much space at all so fitted my needs great, my group ended up using it also for the weekend, so glad I bought it, it's really not as bad as you think, it's so easy to use, it's a great height, incredibly sturdy, will make great use if you hate public toilets with a passion.

I expected it to be a little bit flimsy, but not a bit of it. A nice, sturdy bit of kit that takes my 220lbs easily. Also folds very flat, allowing for easy storage - even in my little micro-camper.One small gripe? Colour advertised as grey, but is more blue than grey. Not a biggy, tho.Recommended.

Not sturdy enough

Bit stiff to open but worked perfectly for us at a festival.You need a small bucket if you are going to use one as a regular (foldable - consortina type) bucket was too big to put underneath.Otherwise - you can’t go wrong. Also serves as an extra seat for Christmas 😃

Great quality....easy to put up, sturdy, folds flat as stated....regular swing in liners fit easily over whole seat And with a bit of cat litter in the bottom we have a tidy wee camp toilet all good to go.

Anche se non l'ho ancora collaudata "specificatamente" ... voglio comunque dare il mio giudizio senz'altro positivo. Arrivata con estrema puntualità e come sempre ben imballata, ha le dimensioni di un normale sgabello da campeggio, si apre e chiude con estrema semplicità, appare robusta sia il telaio che l'asse, di dimensioni comode (più di molti di quelli che si trovano nei bagni). Ripiegata, ha un ingombro davvero minimo, perché la chiusura è fatta in modo da non raddoppiare lo spessore; in altri termini sta in qualunque angolo. Non è esattamente a buon mercato ma, per chi come me, non ha piacere di farla negli anfratti o si schifa dei bagni pubblici, è davvero ideale; sono reperibili sul mercato (in siti specializzati per articoli militari, non se pure qui su Amazon) delle apposite buste sigillabili dopo l'uso e con all'interno una sostanza che favorisce la decomposizione. Igiene, rispetto per l'ambiente e soprattutto per gli altri. Anche se l'aver pubblicizzato l'acquisto ha suscitato l'ilarità dei miei compagni di gioco (la userò la prima volta in una gara milsim di softair), sono molto soddisfatto dell'acquisto, sono certo sarà utilissima.

I'm a big guy, and I felt safe and comfortable using this commode while camping. Beets squatting any day! We have never felt so comfortable going when camping.
