Flat does turn to fluffy - don't worry.
Bought two XL twins for our adjustable bed. They arrived in a super FLAT package. No way would they ever fluff up as shown in the photos. As per the directions, l let them fluff up for 48 hours. Then, I ran them through the dryer separately for 20 mins each. Holy puffy spring clouds! They looked and felt great. The sides slipped onto the thick mattresses and fit perfectly. They do not slip at all once on the bed. Overall, they added a nice extra bit of thick luxury to our bed. Very pleased.
