The santal driftwood fragrance is very gender neutral. It is woody and earthy. Smells natural and not overpowering. The fragrance is classy. This does not smell like products marketed for teenagers or sold at bath and body works or Victoria’s Secret. I also have the pineapple fragrance and it is also a classy, mature fragrance. When I say “mature” I do not mean “old” I mean considerate, classy, subtle and sensual. The experience of using this scented body oil is very sensual, comforting and relaxing. The lighter scent is much appreciated as many scented oils are so heavy with fragrance that I end up not being able to use enough to moisturize my skin without being so fragranced that you might smell me just walking into a room. Products with extreme silage are the opposite of classy, it is tacky, egotistical and inconsiderate of those with allergies and asthma to think that anyone would want to smell anything on your body from across the room. It does not matter who you are or how attractive you believe you are…simply put…strangers do not want to smell your body….regardless of if you are a model or an 80 yr old man. We simply don’t want to smell you unless we are getting close to you and know you well enough to do that. I know people who have to use rescue inhalers because others douse themselves in nauseating fragrance with silage that is so massive they almost leave a trail of chemical fallout behind them. Nobody finds that attractive. At least..nobody with common sense over the age of 16. This product is perfect in terms of silage. If you lean in or go for a hug you can smell this, but you won’t be giving people asthma or allergy attacks an hour after you used the elevator. This is a mature and sophisticated fragrance. Light, subtle, earthy, classy, and definitely something that would make an intimate situation a bit more sensual. The oil is moisturizing and works well after I’ve applied my lotion. My lotion is not scented so a little bit of this on top helps seal in the moisture while adding subtle classy fragrance. I recommend this santal driftwood for those looking for earthy and genderless fragrance. They have perfected the ratio of oil to fragrance and crafted something truly unique. Most fragranced body oils are made with the idea that more is better. With fragrance…more is not better. The subtle fragrance leaves a desire to smell more…as in…get closer. Perfect for a date night and especially a date night massage 😉. The oil absorbs well and does not leave my clothes oily. The consistency is light and spreads easily. A quarter sized little pool of this in my palm is enough for a light application for my entire body. This means the bottle will last for a long time and at this price point it is a great deal, the bottle will last months of daily use as it is a decent sized bottle. I wait for about 5 minutes to get dressed while this absorbs. Then I take my towel and pat any excess to make sure I don’t stain my clothing. This is best applied after a shower or bath when the skin is full of moisture. It helps seal the moisture in. I have very dry skin and I have never found an oil that entirely replaces my lotion. Lipids are great for sealing moisture but they simply can’t replace lotion for those with drier skin. Overall a well rounded, subtle fragrance in an oil base that absorbs well and leaves skin smelling slightly fragranced and feeling smooth and sensual and leaving those who know you well enough with a desire to get a bit closer. THIS is what personal fragrance is supposed to be like: personal and for those who get close enough.

The vanilla cashmere scent of this body oil is perfect. Delicate without being too overpowering. The price for the bottle size and amount you get is amazing. It feels so good on the skin - super moisturizing, and makes you smell like $1 million. I put a lightly scented vanilla lotion over this to lock it in and I have gotten so many compliments on how I smell and my skin has never looked better. The only criticism I have is that it is a little bit sticky, which is why I put on lotion over top of it. It will not determine from buying more in the future. Just a suggestion for their formulation overall I love it and will be a repeat customer and I’m looking forward to trying their other scents.

This does give a first thought to smelling medicine as it is strong when applying, the scent does die down and when it does it is extremely pleasant. Will last on skin all day and definitely locks in moisture extremely well. Just be prepared it can be a little messy, I usually apply after shower, with a towel laid under me (just in case) and a rag under the bottle (just in case) to wipe it down after.

I really wanted to like this body oil and I do for the consistency, the amount of moisture it gives without that greasy feeling or just over shine. BUT, the smell. The smell is NOT yummy at all. It straight up smells like NyQuil PM. Love the body wash though! That smells amazing but the oil is a hard pass for me. —- update from 1 star to 3 So the scent grows on you. Still a strange smell to me but it’s not all that bad. Do absolutely love the moisture it gives my skin and the hydration. However I will be trying vanilla next.

I love this oil. It's thick and leaves my skin feeling good and smelling like a pineapple upside down cake or pineapple Fanta.

this SMELLS DIVINE AND SOFT!!!... got this because i saw a video where Cardi B said people say she always smells good and this is what she uses, good value for money considering it is all a variety of natural oils, and it just softens the skin in a velvety feel. definitely recommend!
