We first tried PetLab Co's dental powder for our older dog as a puppy after noticing early tartar buildup, but a few months in he started refusing his kibble entirely...it seemed like he just didn't like the taste once it was mixed in. That, plus the higher price tag, sent us looking for an alternative. Pet Honesty's version has been the winner ever since. No kibble refusal, and it actually seems like he enjoys the taste (or at least doesn't mind it enough to skip meals). His breath is noticeably better too! This is a real "thank you" from anyone who gets dog kisses in this house. Combined with his nightly Greenie, this powder has helped keep our dog's existing tartar from getting any worse. We've since started our younger dog on it as well now that he's old enough, and his teeth look great...no buildup at all so far *crosses fingers* Great low-effort way to support dental health without the hassle of brushing, especially if your dog is picky and other dental powders have caused food refusal. Works well as a maintenance tool alongside dental chews, not necessarily a replacement for existing tartar.

This works well, especially for reducing stinky breath! I’d say it will help prevent future plaque build up. I’ve used the whole jar on my chihuahua who has some plaque build up and it havent seen it reduce much but it’s definitely kept it from getting worse. It’s really helped reduce his stinky breath. I use it everyday on him, and he tolerates it. Consistency is key!

I was skeptical at first and just wanted to try it it was on sale so I bought it. This actually works it works really well with my dog is 7 years old and I have been brushing her teeth but she still had tartar stains that were pretty dark. After using this for 2 weeks and her teeth are white and shiny and her breath is so much better. I highly recommend this product.

Easy to use and better breath instantly.

First time user for my pup with breath issues. This stuff really works just a week into using and a big difference in his breath. Doesn,t mind it at all on his kibble.

Seems to be making a difference. We have been using a week and noticeably better breath. Directions call for two scoops… There was not a scoop included or any sort of measurement info anywhere on the package so dosage amount is very much in question for my 40 pound dog. Maybe I’m missing something, I looked through the package, but it was just the container. Maybe a little more specification would be helpful.

I was sceptical but happy to have been proven wrong. My Boxer is raw fed and despite having bones to chew, his breath was pretty rank! With a chicken allergy, it took a bit of research before I found this brand, which doesn't have chicken livers for flavour like the other popular brands do. My dog loves the taste of this mixed in with his raw, and I'm loving his kisses once again. Pricey, but he's worth it.
