Really good find! A lovely addition to my garden
After almost being put off by couple of reviews stating top lever windows don’t lie right I almost missed out on a hidden gem, when I set it up I found same problem but realised you use tightening wingnuts to tighten them in place when closing at end of day, one then the second.have grown lots this season in this, arrived packaged very well and looks so finished off as already stained, will be saving for another one.highly recommend!!!

Nice design, easy to construct, but not very well painted
I wanted a small greenhouse to bring on seedlings that I'd germinated in the house. They tend to get a bit leggy if I grow them for too long indoors. This one is a nice design and it was easy to follow the instructions to put it together. I particularly liked that they'd put the screws in separately labelled bags to make it easier to know which screws to use where. A few hopefully useful comments: - the instructions don't recommend drilling any pilot holes, but I did this to ensure the softwood didn't split when putting in the longer screws; - As others have commented, there's only a thin coat of paint and some areas were barely painted at all (hence, I only rated it 4 stars), so I'll look to put at least another coat of garden paint on it to help it last longer; - it's pretty sturdy but light, so it would be best sited in an area of the garden not exposed to strong winds - I'll probably screw it down onto a heavier wooden base, just to make sure it doesn't get blown over. Looking forward now to putting it to good use during the Spring and Summer!

Decent item, poor quality, arrived with broken and missing part.
it’s not the sturdiest of structures, but functionally works as intended. it’s larger than it looks and is a good base. my greenhouse arrived with one latch part missing? a part of the structure broken. when i put it outside the paint started to wash off, this revealed a couple of these little filled in holes which appeared to be filled with some kind of chalk filler as they were washing out with the train to. on a whole it’s a good item, but poor quality, i’d say it should be spoke for £50-£70, not the £100!!!

Absolute tat!
Where to start? Firstly I had to ask for a replacement part as it came damaged in the package. The screw holes were not in line, the magnets do not line up with the metal plates so are useless , the wing nuts do not line up so cannot tighten them so can't open the windows, the joints are sticking out of the frame so the windows do not sit flush, the actual frame is about as straight as a bendy banana. I cannot send it back because I have recycled the packaging. I am going to have to fix the joints, buy latches to keep the doors closed and replace 2 hinges that are bent, re hang the doors so that they line up. What a waste of money. One star because they were fast sending the one new part out and will look pretty when I fix it. I do not recommend this product at all.

Great ‘mini greenhouse’ for pot plants and small tools.
Nice little case for pot plants. We didn’t like the colour though so it has been repainted an appropriate deep green and given a good coating of clear lacquer to protect it. Also I put together an additional shelf made from wood scraps. Finally we added a small bolt on the front to hold the doors together better. Now it is exactly a GREEN house😁😁

It's not worth £99
Firstly I am still recovering from Sepsis and I currently can't get out to nearest town to the post office to return items, so I'm very careful with what I order in the hope that I receive items undamaged and worth the money. Sadly the cold frame arrived damaged with a piece of the magnetic door closure broken off and just chucked into the box. So have some spare Gorilla Glue to hand in case you need to fix the cold frame parts first before building it. I wouldn't say the wood is 'solid' nor 'sturdy' it's very light weight and flimsy in fact in places it had been repaired with wood filler....which is not uncommon as I used to work repairing knots in window frames many moons ago but to this extent? in an factory, it would be deemed a write off (not saleable). Tip 1 construct the base on a table it's easier to manage that way. Tip 2 when fixing the roof panels lean the unit against a sofa to construct Tip 3 there is a video on you tube of how to construct this unit but it's got a different name....so Google 'Kitchen joy mini greenhouse', this man seems to have the real instruction 'booklet' too. The instruction 'sheet' this unit comes with is not very thorough and more of a guessing game. Ps parts E are not missing they're already attached to roof panels! So you can skip that part of the manual....sorry sheet. Tip 4 you will need to use your powered screwdriver to also gently open up pilot holes....and some are non existent Once finally repaired, completing the guessing game and constructed this unit. It's ok but I don't think it will last and I definitely think this unit is not crafted by skilled carpenters at all. The door metal parts for magnets weren't screwed on straight, the bottom metal parts for magnets had no screws to the bottom part at all and don't worry if you can't tear off all the plastic on the polycarbonate sheets, there's so many gaps in this unit to tuck it into! The colour is not really as in the picture, imagine a badly grey wash colour that looks brown in places. Very erm Shabby Chic. I don't think this unit is worth £99 and I don't think it will last very long at all. It's as if it's a cheap copy of an original...perhaps the Kitchen Joy Mini Greenhouse? You'd probably do better buying materials and building your own cold frame or grow house.
