A Great Moisturizer Once You Look Past the Exosome Marketing
At some point, every skincare trend gets wrapped in bigger marketing claims than the ingredients can realistically support, and right now exosomes are definitely having that moment. That's exactly why I wanted to try this cream. I already use quite a few Neogen products and have had consistently good experiences with the brand, so I was curious to see whether this lived up to the buzz. After finishing it, my conclusion is actually pretty simple: if you're expecting this to perform like professional exosome treatments or medical-grade regenerative skincare, you'll probably be disappointed. If you judge it by what the formula actually contains, though, this is an excellent moisturizer that easily earns five stars. For reference, I'm 53 years old with dry, mature, post-menopausal skin, so I pay close attention to hydration, barrier support, and ingredients that can realistically help maintain healthier-looking skin over time. The first thing I noticed is that this is built on a genuinely strong moisturizing base. Glycerin, propanediol, butylene glycol, and niacinamide appear right near the top of the ingredient list. That's a great foundation because these ingredients work together to pull water into the skin, strengthen the barrier, improve uneven tone, and reduce moisture loss. For someone with dry skin, that's far more important than flashy ingredient names. As I kept reading the ingredient list, it became clear that Neogen packed quite a bit into this cream. There are several forms of vitamin C, including ascorbic acid, magnesium ascorbyl phosphate, sodium ascorbyl phosphate, and ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate. Instead of relying on one version, the formula combines multiple vitamin C derivatives to provide antioxidant support while improving overall stability. Ferulic acid and resveratrol further strengthen the antioxidant network, helping protect against environmental stress that contributes to visible aging. The peptide blend is another highlight. This formula contains Copper Tripeptide-1, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5, Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4, Tripeptide-1, Tripeptide-2, Hexapeptide-8, Hexapeptide-9, Hexapeptide-11, Nonapeptide-1, and Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7. No topical peptide is going to replace in-office procedures, but together they provide ongoing support for skin firmness, elasticity, and barrier repair. Hydration is also handled exceptionally well. Multiple forms of hyaluronic acid, including sodium hyaluronate, hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid, sodium acetylated hyaluronate, hydroxypropyltrimonium hyaluronate, sodium hyaluronate crosspolymer, and potassium hyaluronate provide hydration at different levels rather than relying on a single form. Panthenol, sodium PCA, amino acids, lecithin, and hydrogenated lecithin further reinforce the skin barrier, making this especially comfortable on dry or dehydrated skin. Now let's talk about the exosome claim because that's what most people will be buying this for. The packaging highlights Centella-derived exosomes, but they aren't the defining feature of this formula. I don't think they're competing with advanced regenerative skincare, professional exosome products, or growth factor technology like some of the premium products I own. That's simply setting unrealistic expectations. What I do think is that they're one small piece of an already well-designed moisturizing formula. What I noticed during use was skin that stayed hydrated throughout the day, felt softer, and had a healthy, comfortable finish without feeling greasy. The cream has a medium-weight texture that spreads easily, absorbs well, and layers nicely over serums without pilling. It feels substantial enough for dry skin while still remaining comfortable under sunscreen during the day if you don't overapply. One thing I've always liked about Neogen is that they tend to produce formulas that are thoughtfully balanced rather than relying on one trendy ingredient to do all the work. This cream follows that same philosophy. It's loaded with humectants, antioxidants, peptides, barrier-supporting ingredients, amino acids, and multiple forms of hyaluronic acid, all working together in a way that makes sense. Would I buy it again? Yes. Not because I believe the exosome marketing, but because underneath that marketing is a genuinely well-formulated moisturizer. If you go into it expecting a high-quality hydrating cream with an excellent ingredient list instead of a miracle treatment, I think you'll understand why it earned five stars from me.

Exceptional Product
First off, I'm a bit of a skincare junkie and have tried about every brand and good many products out there. So of course I heard of exosomes, especially after microneedling. Typically, after a rejuran microneedling session I was red and irritated for around 2 days and more mildly for another 2. This cream was the only step I added after my last two sessions. The healing time cut in half and the benefits much more obvious faster. I've since added it to my daily skincare routine as I feel like those results proved something beneficial was happening. Do I see it daily? Maybe. My skin is flowy, it pairs well with my other skincare, and layers well with other products. I don't have particularly bad skin(skincare junkie and all), so there is no miracle change, other than what I saw after microneedling. Still, if it can repair wounded skin that much quicker, I do believe it is likely having reparative results daily even if not noticeable. The reviews speaking about the tube being mostly empty are not wrong. Still, the price of good exosomes is high, so I believe the value is still there for the price. It takes a special product to remain in my routine, and many are very costly. This joins a few others as a hero product for me.
