I am a Pacific Islander, but my natural tone is pale. Because of that, I regularly worshiped the sun, and I even subscribed to tanning salons for a great portion of my life. Now that I am older, I smartened up finally and canceled my tanning subscription, but I miss the whole look of being bronze and sunkissed. I tried spray tanning, but I wasn’t a fan. My business partner introduced this product to me. Wow! It’s fantastic! No streaking, dark, and it smells good! I still receive many compliments on my complexion, it looks real! Instead of pretending it’s a real tan, I excitedly tell everyone that it’s fake. The island-life illusion is so overwhelming for me that I can’t keep silent about how I get my “”suntanned complexion. Buy it!! Don’t forget to buy a glove and a tool to spread it across your back. Because it smells good, you can literally apply it, wait 30 minutes, put on your clothes, and go out for the day. Or apply today, then go out tomorrow. Either way, this product is amazing. I bought the drops for the face as well and will be reviewing that shortly. This is the best, deepest, longest lasting tan I’ve ever had in my life! It has a red tint to it which for my pale skin makes it look natural like I’ve been out in the sun. My old go to used to be the the b.tan I want the darkest tan possible which has a green olive tint which is great because I am more olive toned but the tan would only last 4 days and wasn’t that dark. This st tropez takes about 10 days to fade and is soooo dark. The best part is that it DOES NOT SMELL on the skin!!!!!!!!!! I have only noticed a smell if I get the fake tan on my palms or soles of my feet whereas with other tanners like the bondi sands or b.tan the smell was horrible for 3-4 days and made me feel sticky where this st tropez doesn’t make you feel gross while you’re developing. I have also tried the normal st tropez but couldn’t justify the price which is why the b.tan was my go to but now trying this violet tan I will never go back to any other tanners!

Don’t be alarmed on how this tanner looks when first applied. It appears as it going to be blotchy but when it is rinsed it leaves a fantastic rich colour. It’s not orange. It is a fool proof tan when left on for 8 hours!

This is a Pretty decent self tanner. I’ve used many and I actually like this one. I would recommend using a mitt when applying it as it is very dark. Almost black in color. It does make your skin look dirty after you apply it. I used it at night and rinsed off in the morning. The color looked really good. It does have that self tanning smell but not as bad as some. I would only recommend using this one if you already have some type of base tan. If you are ghostly white this color might be too dark for you. Do not wear any light colored clothing because IT WILL rub off. I would give this an 8 1/2 on a scale from 1-10. Which is why I gave 4 stars.
