Mouth Guard for Grinding Teeth at Night: Moldable Dental Guard for Sleeping - Nighttime Protection for Teeth with 12 Cleaning Tablets

I just got this product and I just made the first impression of my upper teeth. I have to say I’m pleasantly surprised with how well it turned out. It is accurate, soft, and feels comfortable. I got this because my dentist made a very expensive snore guard oral appliance for me during sleep, but I also wanted it to protect my teeth. The one from my dentist is hard and tight, and it pulls on my teeth. I know this one won’t help with snoring, but it looks like it will help with clenching my teeth in my sleep. I’m hoping each one lasts a good amount of time, but that is TBD. I don’t have an accurate thermometer, so I microwaved cold water for 60 sec, dipped for 20 sec - was not soft enough yet. I did another 30 sec in microwave and dipped 20 sec - still not quite there. I did another 45 sec in microwave and then dipped for 30 sec. This time I could see it softening in the water. Pulled it out, let it cool for 5 sec, then placed in my mouth and bit down, sucked in, and pushed all around my teeth with my fingers. Then I let it cool and here it is! With this I think the key is going slow with the hot water. When the piece softens, it happens fast, and I think that’s where people have made bad reviews of theirs melting. Good luck! *Update: the guard fit comfortably and secure all night. Very nice fit. After waking up, I noticed bite marks on the bottom of the top guard from my lower teeth, suggesting I clench my teeth in my sleep. Hopefully this guard helps with that! ** 9 day update: I’m obsessed with this mouth guard. My tooth pain is gone from clenching at night. The first guard I made is holding up great, still fits comfortably, easy to clean, etc. Do not hesitate to buy this product!

I have tried so many different night guards! I always woke up with an achy mouth because of the hardness of the other mouth guards . This one here is perfect. If you have any bridges or any dental work that requires you to be more cautious of the type you use, buy these!!! By far the most comfortable and best!!!

These work well. I use them by putting them in fairly warm water until they soften real well. I wish they were a little larger. I understand it makes sense from a marketing standpoint; if the product doesn't fit in your mouth it's no good. Unfortunately if you have a bigger mouth, it doesn't get every tooth. However, these have really helped me. I bite through them, so I plan to get them again.

At first I was little hesitant on how good this would come out (both how effective and molding process it’d turn out). Then I saw the price point vs other sellers here and then dental ones (my dental place is offering 500$) I thought this is something I should try. Glad I did! As you can see the pictures this isn’t the perfect mold like the one on the box and maybe it’s not 100% as it could be. However, this shape was comfortable to me to sleep in! It is a little bulky but I assure you, this was my first time I slept this well and comfortable in my whole life. Growing up I always had jaw issues and it could be due to genetics and anxiety, and believe me I tried a lot of things and nothing has helped. As an adult I started to snore more and at one point due to my grinding issue I even broke a tooth. After all my experience, I do my best to take care of my teeth but money is an issue for most of us. This is a great mouth guard if you are on a budget! I cannot express this message more if you are a grinder, have jaw issues, headaches, jaw pressure and pain waking up PLEASE try this out! I’ll admit this took me two tries! I used water that was at 177-178 degrees hot. And submerged it for about 15 seconds. It will be hot and it may not look curled but you will see that the plastic is looking soft (not as sturdy) take it out place it on a towel paper. Leave it for a second or two and place it on your mouth. I used my tongue to create pressure and lips to mold the front and then gently bite down to create a comfortable bite mold. I’ll admit I had to redunk it a few times for a few seconds about 5 (less than initial time) to remold areas I felt needed to be tweaked more. I hope this helps! I’ve been using dish soap and air dry/towel paper dry to clean and store away. GOODLUCK 🙏

So I followed all the instructions I was impressed it came with so many options and cleaning tablets and was easy to follow but the first night I wore them I woke up in the middle of the night with this horrible chemical/metal taste in my mouth and made me so sick and nauseous I had to take it out of my mouth and to a rinse in my mouth to get the taste out . I don’t know what they used to make this product but that can’t be healthy . I have never had that happen before and have used several products

I sooooo wanted this to work but didn’t for me. The instructions were straight forward, boil and bite. But after nightly use it became clear that it made my TMJ pain significantly worse. I have no other option than to get an expensive, custom made night guard from the dentist. It’s a good product, just didn’t work for me. Could be due to material being too soft and turning it into a “chew toy” for involuntary nighttime grinding. Or the positioning of my bite. In any case my TMJ needs a pro instead of OTC. Not their fault, it’s just life *shrug*.

I have ordered a few mouth guards from Amazon. I was pleasantly surprised how well this mouth guard fit right out of the box. I followed the instructions by microwaving the water (approx 1 min 45 sec) and making sure the water was the right temp. The guard did not melt or shrivel up. I did not have to trim the guard at all. The material feels sturdier than other guards that I have tried.

Great alternative until you can get to the dentist. Helped with my TMJ momentarily.

Hey all, gonna review this honestly. No I’m not staff and no I’m not affiliated. I’m just a normal customer with some seriously painful night bruxism. 😩 This is seriously the best, most comfortable mouth guard I have ever owned in my entire life. I’m not kidding either! I had gone to the dentist and they told me I was damaging my teeth from clenching and grinding my teeth so bad every night. I grind my teeth so much at night that I actually grinded my back molars totally flat! I have also chipped my front teeth. So I went looking for a mouth guard to help me stop destroying my teeth. I have tried other mouth guards before but they were all horrendously uncomfortable and would hurt my mouth. Then I gave these guys a try,(Reazeal brand) and I am SOOO glad I did because after following the instructions, I shaped these mouth guards to fit my mouth perfectly! I used all the small ones, the big ones are too big for my little mouth, but I could probably cut them to size if I need to. But so far these are really perfect for me, best of all, I can actually sleep with my mouth closed while wearing them! The horrible mouth guards I had before were so big for my little mouth that it made my mouth stay open and I would drool on ny pillow! Yuck! Talk about embarrassing! But NOT these guys! These guys are REALLY customize for your mouth and fit perfectly because you can customize them for your mouth. This is the only inexpensive mouth guard I have ever owned that saves me from destroying my teeth further. Bruxism is an awful thing for your teeth, so I am so happy that I can save my teeth from further damage without having to cough up $400- $600 for a custom mouth guard from the dentist. I can just keep using these! When they wear down, I will just buy more! If you were looking for a comfortable inexpensive mouth guard, these are the ones for ya! I am so happy I bought mine, I only wish I had bought them much, much sooner because I then I could have saved my poor teeth from all the damage my nightly bruxism inflicted! My grinding was so bad that it actually caused a big hole in my back molar and I actually got an abscess and had to have a root canal! It was so painful the infection spread to my jaw. But I got it all fixed. If only I had these sooner that all could have been avoided! Well, what matters now is that these mouth guards will save me from destroying my teeth any further and especially preventing me from destroying my tooth that the dentists repaired via root canal. These mouth guards really are a life saver. If you’re destroying your teeth like me, or clench and grind so bad you get headaches, I highly recommend these. It will save your teeth! These guys get a full 5 stars from me!!!!
