Why there is a "warning" sing in the box. does any of the ingredients may cause cancer?

We understand your concern about a California Proposition 65 warning and are confident in the safety of our products and conduct extensive lab testing to prove their safety and quality.

California Proposition 65 is a “right to know” law that requires manufacturers to notify California consumers of any exposure to over 900 chemicals. The law was well intentioned when it was originally passed in 1986 by voters to protect CA’s drinking water, but it has unfortunately been expanded over the years and become a well-known source of lawsuit abuse in California. Natural food companies like ours are routinely extorted for lawsuit settlements by for profit law firms due to the law mainly being enforced by private plaintiffs.

The lead found in this product is naturally occurring from the soil and is not out of a normal range of any soil grown food product and the test results are in the parts per billion. Acrylamide is present in all roasted coffee and is a result of the roasting process and is a natural chemical reaction of the browning of green coffee beans. No chemicals are ever added to any of our products.

We provide this warning on our Amazon packaging as a lawsuit preventative since Amazon ships to all 50 states including California. We do not believe this product requires a Proposition 65 warning, but choose to provide one out of an abundance of caution due to the high costs of lawsuit litigation.

All the listed ingredients together add up to 1000 mg. It does mention Reishi & Chaga extracts together, so it appears that the two combined contain 400 mg. It does not give the exact break-down and it's not stated if there are equal amounts of each.  If they contain equal amounts, it would be 200 mg each.
