Use Butter Yellow only on aluminum. It is not intended for use on any other metals or materials. Butter Yellow - Yellow 4A can change its shade depending on how the thickness of the anodizing surface and the duration of time in the dye bath. It can be a pale grayish yellow if you do a shorter anodizing cycle. For a longer duration in the anodizing bath and in the dye bath, Butter Yellow - Yellow 4A will look like rich, butter yellow. Make sure to seal with our MT-90 Nickel Acetate sealer directly after dye bath. Butter Yellow - Yellow 4A is RoHS compliant. Specs on Butter Yellow - Yellow 4A Concentration:The 80 mL bottle makes 7.6 L (2 gal.) pH - 5.3-6.2 Raise with ammonium hydroxide, lower with acetic acid. Temp: 120-140Β°F.
