I have a pair of Merrell Moab hiking shoes, but wanted something that covered more and were waterproof. These boots are amazing. They are one of the most comfortable shoes I own. I wore them everywhere and found I preferred them over other shoes throughout the trip. They stayed comfortable and dry no matter where we went, rivers, lakes or the ocean.I’ve now worn them on several trips including a March trip to Bryce Canyon where we went from snow on some trails to the heat of the red rocks in others. I love these boots more every time I wear them.I am a huge fan now. At the price they are a nobrainer. The insole and cushion is comfortable. The construction is so far very durable, the heat here is very strong in the summer here, it is easy for adhesives and soles to separate but so far there is no sign of this and I am pleased. I hope they continue to last. These are almost a full boot which protects the ankle well, but breathability is not going to be a highlight, so far decent. The boot is stylish you have color options.I wanted a size 6 but only 6.5 was available. I had to make a slight compromise so 4 stars.
