This is the real deal. It's very stringy, much like mucus is, without the horror of what they do to snails. I don't know how anyone thinks they're beautiful when the actions are so hideous. The instructions say to put it on last, which stumps me, since I apply oil, and nobody can convince me that oil, a sealant, should go on before moisturizer. Aside from that slight confusion, it works great and my skin feels moisturized all day. This is huge, since I live in a high altitude desert where crepey skin can very much be the norm.

I previously discovered this product at TJ Maxx and am delighted to find it available on Amazon. This is, without a doubt, the most effective moisturizer I have encountered. I have utilized numerous high-end moisturizers, none of which have matched its performance.

Really like this, you apply it and your skin feels soft and plump (like baby skin) without feeling at all greasy all day'- the softness really does last. It is a bit tricky to get it out of the jar because it is viscous, like, well, a snail's trail. The first few times I tried to scoop a little, it was like taking a bite of hot cheese pizza - there were strands of extra moisturizer stretching from the scoop to the pot and I couldn't dislodge them - they just stretched and stretched till they snapped and so some was wasted all over my sink counter. I'm more careful now to tap the scoop off and make sure none is trailing. In a weird way it make the product seem even more legit - I've never had moisturizer act like cheese pizza before so it must be doing something out of the ordinary!

I have been using this for two weeks with the serum and rice water bright cleansers and I am in love !!!! I can tell a big difference. I had some red irritation between my brows and a couple of dark spots elsewhere on my face . There is no sent and skin is so soft !!!!! So glad I came across this product !!!

I've had the opportunity to try this product in combinations with it's sister product The Face Shop Alltimate Vegan Mucin Peptide 8 Serum 30ml, Anti-aging Serum. Together they really leave your face plumped up, hydrated and looking good. Pores looks smaller and it has an overall anti-aging effect. You also get that warm all over feeling with it, that let's me know a product is penetrating skin and increasing blood flow to the area. That's a good thing and something I notice with all good skin products. I do like the serum better though. I think it's because this moisturizer goes a bit too far mimicking snail mucin. Though it doesn't have any snail goo in it, it's still slimy and sticky and stringy. I'm not sure if that's all really necessary. I assume that's why one would want a snail alternative?! Maybe the active ingredient (yams) is equally slimy, but really, I just want great effects, I've no need for the ick factor! Other than it's slimy/stringy quality, it deeply moisturizes and feels good. Once it's on your skin, the texture issues evaporate. It's just kind of an odd process putting it on.

I’ve heard people raving about snail mucin, but it can be incredibly cruel and I’ve also seen that they actually euthanize snails after extracting mucin which doesn’t sit right with me. This product makes my skin feels so soft and moisturized and I love that it’s cruelty, free and Vegan! Also a little bit goes a long way!

This is the second jar I have ordered and use it with the serum. It keeps my face hydrated and prevents wrinkles.

This cream is amazing! It’s the first product that I’ve ever used that’s made a significant difference in my skin. It doesn’t just moisturize, it’s really smoothed the texture of my skin out and it’s evened out my skin tone. I love it. And it’s awesome that it’s vegan! :)👍🏽
