The first time that I bought Shea butter ( not from this seller) was bad . I love the Shea , but the smell was so bad. I tried to use essential oils to kill the smell, but was so pungent I give up. This seller was great the Shea packing came really seal. I created the most creamy butter with it and yes, smell really good after I added up essential oils. This seller will be my choice from now on, because they delivered a fine fresh product. Love it!

Contained bugs
This is a large amount of shea butter and a great price. That being said, when I melted it down for making lotions and lips balm, I did have to sift out several small dead bugs and flies that were inside the butter. Definitely makes me think it is authentic and raw shea butter from the jungle.

The price was great but it is a little grainy. I use this with other oils and butters in my lip balms, soaps, etc. When combined it feels okay.
