Recently, I decided to completely refurbish it. Touch up the zipper handles. Leather conditioner everywhere. And then I had one problem area. A small section at the top of the case had a leather "deterioration" where the leather was separating from the binding. Wasn't really that noticable but I was concerned that it would get worse over time. Considered taking the case to a leather repair shop and then had the idea of trying black glue to fix the problem. So I gave it a try. It wasn't easy. This product is thin. It hardens very well but out of the tube, it's a bit watery. I had to reapply several layers over a couple of days. Ultimately, it did exactly what I was looking for. The reapplication of multiple layers was the trick. End result. The bond is very good. I don't have any doubts that this will accomplish what I need.
