Support macOS, Windows and Linux Switch Layouts Between macOS & Windows Built with the Mac users’ experience in mind while still retaining compatibility for Windows devices, the Keychron V1 Max comes with a system toggle and an additional set of customized keycaps for both Windows and macOS systems. You can now save two different layouts on the keyboard, one for each system. Bluetooth Connection Steps Slide the toggle switch to the Bluetooth position. Hold Fn + 1 until the Bluetooth indicator flashes repeatedly. Enable Bluetooth on your device, search for the keyboard, and connect. Bluetooth connection video: see troubleshooting guide for details. Review: V1 Max 75% Wireless Mechanical Keyboard with Banana Tactile Gateron Jupiter Switches - Superior quality. Keyboard has a great feel to it. I got the Banana Tactile Gateron Jupiter switches. There is a soft tactile feel and sound, but they aren't super clicky, so maybe watch a video to hear what they sound like, depending on what type of switch you're looking for. It includes a braided cable so you can use it wired or wirelessly. The keyboard works well for long gaming sessions or productivity.
Review: Buy the board. You wont regret it! - Honestly a surprisingly good cheap board. The accessories in the box, high quality cable, SUPER lightweight yet not a cheap feeling board by any means, the switches feel amazing. Smooth and buttery with a chime to them. No rattle. It's a properly built board no doubt. I have 500-1000 dollar boards and I can honestly say I would rather type on this. Many functions with the board was a nice feature. Keycaps aren't horrible. I think the font is a little goofy on some keys like Comic sans, even though it's not. But I probably wont replace them. It's an extremely nice board and I suggest buying it to try it. At this price point you can't go wrong. It's a LITTLE noisey with these switches but I'm not bottoming out and it's not LOUD by anymeans. Just a little noisey.

Superior quality. Keyboard has a great feel to it. I got the Banana Tactile Gateron Jupiter switches. There is a soft tactile feel and sound, but they aren't super clicky, so maybe watch a video to hear what they sound like, depending on what type of switch you're looking for. It includes a braided cable so you can use it wired or wirelessly. The keyboard works well for long gaming sessions or productivity.

### ⭐ Phantom double spaces when typing

Hardware: 1/5 - extreme value but defective Customer service: 0/5 - more like customer disservice I originally held off on writing this review as I was waiting to hear back from someone higher up at Keychron regarding a solution I developed to their phantom keypress issue. I have purchased 5 keychron keyboards in the last month (3x V1 Max, Q12, Q1 Max) fitted with a combination of Gateron Jupiter Red/Brown/Banana and GPro Brown switches. They all have an issue where pressing the space bar sometimes results in two spacebar inputs instead of one. The Jupiter reds are the least problematic switches of the bunch, and the issue almost never happens. What makes this tragic, is that the phantom spacebar keypress is an issue is at the firmware level. It's not a hardware issue, at least for the 5 keyboard I've received. I spent an afternoon developing a fix which took all of two lines of code. From my conversations with support, in trying to discuss my solution with them, they don't seem to comprehend what I'm communicating. VIA support is tragic on the wireless models. You have to use Keychron's launcher as it simply does not work in VIA, regardless of following the obvious support steps (e.g updating firmware). QMK support for the wireless models would be a pain for the average user, as the firmware for these models is not even available on the main QMK branch. Super. Facepalm. Keychron produces a compelling product at an excellent price point. However, their quality control (if they even have such process) and customer support ruin the brand for me. If they focused on perfecting their core product, they'd be sitting on a gem.
