I have used this product for white (and lights) clothes for 16 years and a box lasts for a very long time. I was advised by a Miele serviceman to only use 1 tbsp per load and I wash lights about 5 times a week. One box has lasted me for 10 months or more. I wonder what’s happened to the Miele detergent for coloured clothes. Amazon only offers it as part of a package which I don’t need to buy. I hope they haven’t stopped making the powder detergent for coloured clothes because it too works extremely well and lasts for about a year. I did recently buy their liquid detergent for coloured clothes but I’ll be surprised if it lasts for 6 weeks. Love their boxes of powdered detergent and I hope they will keep making both of them. They are the Best Buy for a quality detergent that I’ve ever found.

Five stars for the detergent, zero for the packaging. I have a Miele washer and dryer, and this powder is the best I’ve used. Ultra White for whites, Ultra Color for darks. A little goes a long way. The problem is how it ships. The powder sits in a plastic bag with a drawstring closure, inside a thin cardboard box with a flap lid. Nothing is actually sealed. Amazon throws it into a bigger box, the driver throws that onto your porch, and mine arrived upside down. You can guess the rest. Powder everywhere. I open these outside now so I can shake out the loose detergent and wipe everything down. Plan on losing about a scoop in transit. Will I keep buying it? Yes. I’m not switching to a worse detergent. Is it wasteful and frustrating? Also yes. Fix the packaging, Miele. This one is not a win for German engineering.

Have used this for years at the recommendation of Miele for use in our Miele washer, have since moved and don’t have a Miele washer anymore, thought we would switch back to a standard brand that is available at any box store but we found nothing was cleaning like this and our machine doesn’t get gunked up with residue. Was happy to see amazon carrying this product as this always needed some forethought to go to the appliance store or order through Miele. Miele charges for shipping this ships free with Prime. Yes this is pricey compared to the standard household name products but this lasts a long time, a tablespoon or two is all you need. Cleans well and great for sensitive skin, no real scent.

I was not typically using using powdered detergent. But I have really like the Miele brand of cleaning products. I've now been using this particular one for several years on my white tee-shirts. It dissolves, gets the shirts clean - and they smell good, too. I think this may have less 'bad' chemicals than in some brands. My 23 year old German-made, front load Whirlpool Duet washer seems to like it, too.
