They are much better, longer lasting, and better fitting than the ones you buy from the zone of autos, or the freight at the harbour . Those brands sometimes have blowouts just putting them on. I'm pointing the finger at these brands because I know them well. The gloves we have here are thick, strong, and last many times longer than the lesser brands, plus, the "diamond texture grip" actually helps with not dropping parts during the greasy jobs. I pulled an intake manifold, 2 cylinder heads, exhaust manifolds, and a set of lifters out of an old v8 engine, all with ONE pair of gloves! While a box of these might be a bit more than other brands, it is actually more cost effective because you use fewer of them per job. I will be buying more of these.
