This lip oil feels really nice on the lips—lightweight, hydrating, and not sticky at all. It gives a pretty, glossy shine that makes lips look healthy and smooth. I was expecting a bit more shimmer or glimmer based on the pictures, but the finish is more of a sheer, natural-looking shine rather than sparkly. It’s still a good everyday lip product, and the level of shine is actually just right—not too subtle and not overdone. I actually bought this for my daughter, who is a fair-skinned redhead, and it looks beautiful on her. The sheer shine really complements her coloring and looks great.

This reall is a great lip gloss and I would suggest you purchase this item. I got the devine wine and it is a beautiful shade, not too heavy in color and not too light. The only thing is if you would like really shinny add a clear coat to the top as it is more of a matte finish otherwise very nice.

This lip oil is amazing!!! I purchased candy coated to see if it would be a dupe for a more expensive lip gloss that I loveee. (Half Magic in color Y2K Cherub $24). The Elf lip oil is less than half the price and performs well. Since it is an oil vs a straight up gloss the lip crayon I use under it breaks up a little bit but with the color I use you can’t really notice so it turns out looking like a natural hydrated plump with fun glitter. I adore the Elf lip oil and will definitely be repurchasing and have my eye on 2 other colors offered. Get it!!! You won’t regret. It isn’t sticky and I reapply about 3 times a day to keep it looking fresh and perfect.

I like it. For about 5-8 minutes, it’s lovely. I’m so torn. On the one hand- it is fantastic. Then I get Guy Diamond vibes. I do not like- staying power. It does not stay on long enough. What I like- nearly everything else. The color, the shine, the sparkle, the scent, the feel, the sticky, the sheerness with a hint of color. The scent or flavor is mint. Thank goodness! Mint! Clean. Crisp. Refreshing. It is faint too. The ELF lip oil is sort of a mix of Lancôme Fever Plumper and their Juicy Tubes but the staying power, wah, wah, wah. I slicked on a slickery amount and drove my daughter to school. Half way there, my lips were still glossy in appearance but it was mostly the sparkles. In the sun, without much oil- my lips looked glittery. Guy Diamond, glittery. A great look for someone else. The lips were still nicely hydrated and feeling great though. The texture is quite slick. More slick than stick. The applicator- the foot. It’s a big foot, it’s soft and plush and wide. My favorite part. The square packaging is nice too. I love the color. It’s beautiful. I like the sheerness and hint of color. I think this would be lovely on a face of any age without the glittering sparkles. I might be passing this to a fifth grader due to the heavy glitter factor. It wasn’t obvious till the oil was absorbed and the sparkle was what remained. In 10 minutes. The hydration aspect is fine while it’s on and lasts another hour or so and then I need to reapply. The hydration lasts longer than the shine. For the price, I will try another lip oil or lip gloss from ELF but I will look for something without shimmer and glitter.

I bought 2 different colors and both are very pretty and shimmery. The pink color is very natural to my skin tones and even leaves a bit of color even after the gloss absorbs into the skin. The sheer color is extra sparkly and very pretty as well. My lips always feel very hydrated after using these. It’s not too sticky, the thickness and quality is perfect and it applies easily. Good size that lasts awhile. I keep buying more!

As a pageant competitor I have tried every lip oil on the market and nothing compares to this. The shimmer is incredibly fine and catches the light beautifully without looking glittery or chunky, the formula is completely non sticky, and it lasts hours per application. I use it alone, over liner, and over lipstick and it works every way. The minty scent is a nice touch and the price is almost offensive for how good it is. I have this in multiple shades (my favs are Chocoluxe and Crystal Baller) and I can’t wait to buy more!

Dried my lips out but the color is fine. Will be reapplying often.

Really love this one. The consistency is smooth and comfortable on the skin, and it lasts for hours without becoming cakey. You only need a small amount because the glow shows up really well even with a light application. The shade is beautiful and gives a soft, sun-kissed finish without overpowering the rest of your makeup. It blends in naturally and leaves the skin looking glowy rather than overly glittery. Totally recommend and would buy again.
