At 52, post-menopausal, with dry mature skin, I completely fell into the Volufiline rabbit hole. I tried several products because the idea of temporary plumping sounded appealing. Some were fine, but most felt like oil-based plumping products with very limited skin support. That is what led me to this , and honestly, this is much more the kind of product I was hoping to find. This is not trying to be a miracle lifting cream. It is not going to structurally change the face, replace filler, or erase deeper wrinkles. But what it does very well is make skin look smoother, softer, more hydrated, and more refined almost immediately. The texture is excellent for dry mature skin. It has enough richness to feel comforting, but it does not feel greasy or suffocating. It gives that cushioned, smoothed effect that makes fine dehydration lines look less obvious, especially around areas where skin can look a little crepey or tired. It also creates a very nice soft-focus finish without feeling like a silicone-heavy primer sitting on top of the skin. Ingredient-wise, this is where I think it separates itself from many Volufiline-style products. Instead of being built mostly around a temporary plumping oil, this has a much more complete skin-support formula. There are multiple forms of hyaluronic acid for hydration, ectoin for barrier and environmental stress support, peptides like palmitoyl tripeptide-1 and palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7 for smoothing and firmness support, ceramides, cholesterol, phospholipids, squalane, jojoba oil, oat kernel oil, shea butter, and saccharide isomerate for moisture and barrier comfort. That combination makes more sense for mature skin than a simple “plumping” product alone. The ceramides, cholesterol, and lipids are especially important because post-menopausal skin tends to lose moisture more easily and often needs more barrier support. When the barrier is better supported, skin looks smoother, calmer, and less dull. That is the result I noticed here. Compared with Volufiline products, I find this more wearable and more useful in a daily routine. Volufiline can give a temporary plumped look, but many formulas feel oily or too narrow in purpose. This gives a smoother, more hydrated, more polished finish while also functioning as a real moisturizer. It also works beautifully under makeup. That is a major plus. It helps skin look smoother without pilling or making foundation slide around, and the blur effect is noticeable without looking artificial. Who is this best for? Dry skin, mature skin, anyone dealing with dehydration lines, dull texture, or skin that needs both moisture and a smoother-looking finish. Who may not love it? Very oily skin types, or anyone expecting dramatic tightening or deep wrinkle correction. Overall, I love this. It gives the temporary cosmetic improvement I wanted from the Volufiline trend, but in a far more complete, skin-supportive formula. It hydrates, cushions, softens, blurs, and makes my skin look better immediately while still feeling like skincare.

Love the way this feels on my face. It is so smooth and moisturizing. It is quite expensive however for the small amount of product. 5 stars for the product and 1 star for the price. A coupon would be nice.

Love this moisturizer. I am 44 and I have combination skin where my skin is dry but then I’m also acne prone and will break out from most moisturizers (fun times). I normally can only buy oil free moisturizers. This is the only moisturizer I’ve been able to find that feels like it actually can heal the dryness and it does not break me out. Wish it was not as expensive but it’s worth it to me. Would definitely repurchase.
