This thing is pretty legit. Tough build for younger kids but its a nice build. I super glued everything together so this thing will last forever. I would buy it again.

This plastic brick (LEGO-like) model is impressive looking, but a number of pieces struggle to lock together. We’ve had to super glue connections. If you intend to assemble and display on a shelf, probably not a problem — but for any kind of handling, it is not particularly durable.

My 8 year old grandson put it together in an afternoon! Looked fantastic when he had it all assembled. He and his 6 year old brother requested a helicopter and are thrilled with this one.

Pieces do not fit together the best. If you have glue and use that, everything should hold together well. If not, it can be a frustrating build. Included all pieces. Directions can be a little challenging to follow at times. As a positive, the set was bigger than expected.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Look honestly this is probably the best rep lego set you’ll ever get. Good build. Only bad thing , is that yeah bags are numbered but the pieces are scattered everywhere in every bag and you will think you’re missing pieces but you’re not ! You have to open all of them to find your parts to start the build !

This kit is my first experience with Sluban and so far I'm pleasantly surprised by it - I will be picking up more down the line for sure! The pieces all snapped together nice and easily and the final result looks awesome! I'm a fan of military equipment and I love how accurate and detailed this kit is thanks to some uniquely designed pieces (my first time seeing a few of them), along with some creative choices in how to combine them. It was a pretty challenging build however, taking me two evenings to complete. The challenge was not so much because the design felt overly complex, but because 98% of the pieces in this kit are solid black along with my tables. It felt like putting together a jigsaw puzzle that was a solid color. It probably took twice as long to locate any given piece, and because there are some parts that have extremely subtle differences that I can only notice when they are side-by-side I found myself using the wrong part on multiple occasions and having to backtrack. The instructions added to the confusion in the first few pages as it would often say to use "Bag 10" for the steps when the pieces the step required were actually found in "Bag 01" or "Bag 03". Thankfully this didn't persist across the rest of the steps. And while rare, there was an occasional step or two that was difficult to see how things were supposed to align together. As an extra minor gripe, the instruction book is actually slightly longer than the product's box so the pages came with enough of a curl that the book didn't want to lay flat making it harder to read off of or keep on the correct page. There were a few sticker decals that needed to be manually applied, but I found this step easy thanks to some tweezers. I think this particular kit ultimately works better for "display" rather than "play". The door guns will pop off with the slightest of bumps, and the interior has very limited accessibility even when you open or remove the doors (for the life of me I cannot get the pilot seated into the cockpit area without having to break apart enough pieces to require a major reconstruction effort). But on the plus side it looks friggin' awesome and is rather a large scale (a great kit for the price!). If you're a fan of military equipment and are a fan of these types of building blocks, I'd definitely recommend checking it out.

If you're into building model helicopters, this set is a solid choice. It’s got a really impressive design, closely resembling a real Black Hawk, and once it's put together, it looks fantastic on display. The blades fold for easy storage, and the details—inside and out—are well thought out. The pieces fit together snugly, and while it's not LEGO, the quality is still really good. Now, fair warning, this isn't a quick build. The instructions are clear, and the parts are well-organized, but some sections are tricky, and you might have to take things apart and redo them as you go. It's a bit of a challenge, but honestly, that's part of the fun. If you’re building with kids, younger ones will probably need some help, but it makes for great bonding time. The only downsides? The minifigures aren’t great—not bad, but definitely not on LEGO’s level. The doors? I really wish they slid open instead of having to be removed completely. And the stickers being hidden at the back of the instruction book? That was just annoying. That said, for the price, this is a really well-done set. It’s fun to build, looks amazing when finished, and makes for a great display piece. If you’re a fan of helicopters or military models, this is definitely worth picking up! 5-Stars!!

This Sluban BlackHawk Military building set arrived looking as advertised. The pieces are well made and snap together as expected. The instructions are step by step and easy to follow. My nine year old was able to follow along and create this helicopter independently. The mini solider figurines and military equipment was the perfect added touch. You truly can’t beat this price. Well made and would make an amazing gift! Great for working on following instructions, fine motor development and imaginative play!

Even though it’s a bit pricey for what you get, My younger brother really enjoys playing with this.

Once again, I wanted a different kind of model that Lego didn't sell. However, this UH-60 Black Hawk Helicopter Military Set is a really cheap knockoff of Lego. The pieces are hard to put together and the instructions are difficult to follow. Unless you really are into war models, I saw stick to Lego.
