Easy to Work Into My Daily Supplement Routine
I added this magnesium citrate to my supplement routine because I wanted a magnesium product in capsule form that was easy to take consistently. With 180 capsules in the bottle, I also liked that I wasn't going to be ordering another bottle right away. The capsules have been straightforward to take, and I prefer this format over mixing a magnesium powder into a drink every day. I can simply take the recommended serving along with the rest of my supplements and move on with my morning. One thing I would definitely recommend is looking closely at the Supplement Facts panel rather than just the “1000 mg” on the front of the bottle. With magnesium supplements, the amount of magnesium citrate and the actual amount of elemental magnesium aren't necessarily the same thing, so I always want to know exactly how much magnesium I'm actually getting per serving. Magnesium citrate can also have a laxative effect, particularly at higher amounts, so I wouldn't automatically assume that taking more is better. I stick with the directions and pay attention to how my body responds. Overall, it's convenient, the 180-count bottle lasts a good amount of time, and it has been an easy magnesium supplement to incorporate into my routine. Just make sure you understand the actual serving and elemental magnesium amount before taking it.
