It barely smells and the smell isn't bad at all, it's faint and natural. I personally can't comment on the taste, but I asked my boyfriend and he said that there wasn't anything noticeable which is a good thing in my opinion because I don't particularly care about a special taste in lubricant. The moisturizing aspect is so great. I sometimes get a small dry area down there that becomes very sensitive, and using this when I do stuff makes it so much better. Perhaps the best part is, it absorbs into my skin and clears up the sensitive/dry spot. This lubricant does indeed help make things more slippery and easier if you have trouble. It's a unisex product, my boyfriend and I have both used it on ourselves and together.
