12.6V 1A AC/DC Power Supply Adapter 1000mA 500mA with 5.5X2.5mm US Plug

Work great--had no problem and easy to use!

Has indication light, worked exactly as needed. Actually used to charge a battery in a heated jacket. My original charger died and this had the same specs.

I actually sent it back. Nothing wrong with the product. It was the wrong volts and amperage for my needs.

Vine is not free. My cost is time for an honest review & photos plus 30 percent of full value. As an electrical engineer and builder I am always in search of reliable 12V power. This offers numerous safety features with the included standard 5.5mm plug accommodating pins of 2.1 and 2.5mm. Build quality is standard but the cord is more substantial than expected. I really like the indicator light that lets me know the circuit is powered up. I also like the side-mounted plug tines so this adapter won't block other outlets. This unit is rated for 12.6V at 1A so I loaded it up to capacity (12 ohm resistor) to see how it would perform. This little guy does what it claims. With a slight overload it dropped the voltage to continue providing essentially 1 amp. Open circuit voltage was 12.8 with up to 40 mV switching spikes of 30nS duration. At slightly over full load (12 ohms would draw 1.05 amp at 12.6V) this dropped the voltage to 11.3V limiting current as promised to 0.94A, However! See below. Ripple at a slight overload was well controlled at only 1.2%. After 5 minutes full load the device was slightly warm. The item listing suggested this would maintain its 12.6 output voltage but limit current to 1 Amp if the load requested more. This was Not the case as the device lowered the output voltage to control the current draw. A better but more sophisticated approach would have been to have a current limiter circuit set at 1 Amp and yet would maintain output voltage at the 12.6 design point. A reasonable power supply.

I bought this power supply adapter to replace an old one that stopped working and it fit perfectly! The cord is strong and durable and not heavy. Great price - very happy with this adapter!

I bought this charger as a replacement after my original one stopped working. This charger is compatible with various devices, including LED strips and Bluetooth speakers. I've been using it for my desktop speakers for about six weeks now, and I haven't experienced any issues, such as overheating. When I plugged it in, the LED indicator lit up immediately, and it charged without any problems. The 5.5 x 2.5 mm barrel connector fits snugly without any wiggle, and while the cord length is reasonable for charging, I wish it were a bit longer for added convenience.
