It's not bad
Well, it is eclectic. To the point these items don't really complement each other. People acting like it's not worth the value don't appreciate this is easily $10 worth of jerky, and it was really good jerky although more moist than you would expect, not a piece wasted with a weird fatty bit that happens sometimes with jerky, and not super salty either. Love a sprouted almond because the texture is so good, but I am personally not a fan of the Nashville hot seasoning. The heat was right where you'd want it to be (unless you're really crazy about spice but Nashville hot is not that kind of spice anyway) but it's not my thing. The crispy sea salt crackers are probably the most unusual choice here because they're just a bland white cracker. This needs a spread or dip added to round out the choices here because there isn't enough flavor to eat the crackers by themselves but it's not really meant to go with the other items. The green olives were good, but they're just green olives. Might've been nice to have the lemon garlic ones added to the box in its place because those sound intriguing and might make sense with the cracker? My partner couldn't wait to break into the peanut butter grapes. These were good. Very sweet dates without much flavor, but not dry at all. The peanut butter could also have more flavor but it was fine. I wanted to like them more than I did but I had nothing to dislike about them other than wanting more from it. That's kind of how I feel about this entire box.

I didn't care for this but that doesn't mean you won't.
This is a difficult review for me to write. It's food, and it's unusual food at that. People have different tastes so please take this review purely as subjective, personal opinion. I didn't care for any of this. I like to try new and different foods. I'll go to a fair and immediately seek out some odd things to try. Some of it I like and some I don't. I say this to show that my dislike for this product isn't based on me being averse to oddball foods. Nothing in this set is anything I'd want to eat again with the exception of the green olives because, well, they were just regular green olives. The price is steep for this in my opinion. For the cost you'll receive very little. There were just three peanut butter dates in the bag, for example. They were the best tasting product here but I wouldn't describe them as good. The truffle jerky just didn't jive with me. The smell is off-putting and nothing in the taste redeemed my desire to continue eating them. The spicy almonds might be desirable to some, our Macaw loves them so that's something. They had a strong cayenne flavor which was overwhelming to me. Finally, the crackers. Absolutely tasteless. Honestly, it was like eating crispy nothing. I can't imagine anyone craving these. They weren't good, they weren't bad... they just weren't anything. I don't like to write negative reviews and I really want to stress that my experience could be totally different than yours. The manufacturer assembled a grouping of unique and unusual snacks for people to try. It's bold and I respect that. The problem is that none of them hit home with me and that's just bad luck.

10 stars! I almost ate my whole box in one sitting and definitely didn't share
I have more of a sweet tooth but I do enjoy salty snacks too. Well the box came today and I basically demolished it, all the flavors were complex and delicious. I only have a few olives and almonds remaining. First of all, this box is cute and would make a great gift, sent as is. Truffle Jerky- I'd never had truffle flavored food before so the weird toe smell caught me off guard. But, ignore the smell! This jerky tastes AMAZING. I'm not exaggerating, I ate the whole (small) package. It tastes nothing like its odor and is very soft, easy to chew unlike normal store bought jerky. The olives are buttery and tender. Nothing notable to say here except they're good. The sea salt crackers are small, crispy, salted on one side, and very snackable. I put homemade chicken salad on top, a classic combo. The peanut butter dates I expected to be my favorite since I have an extreme sweet tooth. They tasted good, but were less exciting compared to the complexity of everything else in the box. The natural peanut butter inside had a sort of crumbly texture but the flavor combo was really good after the spicy salty snacks I'd just eaten. The spicy almonds were hands down the most addictive and delicious thing I've snacked on in quite a while. I read "hollow almonds" in the description and laughed thinking it was a gimmick. No, the hollow core makes the almonds feel crispier! It was almost like eating really spicy chips. I will buy the almonds separately as a snack.

Gourmet foodie gift box with 5 separately packaged items. Very expensive.
This gift box of 5 different "gourmet" items is very eclectic. Each item is individually packaged. The items selected is wildly different, so you would have to know your recipient's taste well. The truffle flavored beef jerky was very good and I liked this one the most. But the truffle flavor can be strong and not everyone in my family liked it. The peanut butter filled dates were also good, but dry. There are only 3 dates in the package and the peanut butter tasted very sweet for peanut butter. The crackers were good too, but really hard and crunchy. The sea salt flavor really wasn't to my liking plain. But, with some cheese they were okay. The olives were basically just olives and I thought they were very good, as did my family. But, they were just regular olives and not something I would consider gourmet. Lastly, the Nashville Hot almonds were too hot for me. I gave them to my nephew and he really liked them. All of the items tasted fresh, but this eclectic sample of gourmet foodie items weren't something I would try again. Each item had different expiration dates. The crackers were December 2024 and the other items expire sometime in 2025. So, they were shipped sufficiently fresh with have adequate expiration dates. However, the original price was terribly expensive and I see they dropped the price down to $29.99 or $6.00/package. While these are fresh and most tasted okay, I feel there are better and more tasty options available.

A good gluten free variety
These are overall pretty good, and they included a unique variety. The portions are fairly small for the cost, but it would be a decent food gift for someone who is gluten free if you don’t know what to get them. My husband helped me taste test. The only thing neither of us liked was the crackers, which taste a little like crunchy nothing. He loved the nuts, but they were too hot for me. The olives tasted as you’d expect, but they’re bigger than what most stores sell. The dates were pretty good. The jerky has a unique flavor that I liked. My husband didn’t love the clove flavor, which he called out before I saw the ingredients. Overall, the variety is nice and they’re good quality. A star off because the portions should be better for the price. Great ingredients though, so I think that makes up for any other shortcomings or differences in our preferences.
