A: My bottle was produced in 2011, with an expiration of 1/15/2014. Although the label does not state the amount of phenols this oil contains, it does have a distinct bitterness, which is an indication of high levels of phenols. This is a good thing, since phenols provide desirable anti-oxidant effects.

Lorenzo #1 is a slightly dense oil, brilliant green in colour with golden yellow reflections, spicy with a persistent herbaceous and intensely fruity flavor. A: Thanks for bringing to my attention. Yes my bottle is also best by 10 months expiration. This time period works for me, even past the 10 months, it should be still good within reason. It's a delicious olive oil and I will continue to re-order.

Very tasty EVOO. A little in your face on the end but not too much in moderate amounts. Too much quantity can result in a fat Snoop D. cough! Was buying directly from Italy in 6 pack until freight rates skyrocked. It helps to shake the bottle while pouring if is not allowing enough flow.
