Designed for explosiveness in the gym, these training shoes are made to feel like barefoot, but better. Review: Comfortable, lightweight, and great for training - I bought the New Balance Men’s Minimus TR V2 cross-training shoes and I’m very happy with them. They are lightweight and very comfortable, with a flexible sole that works well for gym workouts and training sessions. The fit is true to size and provides good stability. The design is simple and sporty, and the material feels durable. They also offer good grip and balance during exercises. Overall, this is a great training shoe and good value for the price. I would definitely recommend it. Review: Great shoe! Sizing matters. - Great shoe! Durable, good traction and look great. On my feet all day and feel comfortable. Compared to most athletic shoes, the price is also worth it. I have a narrow foot but prefer zero drop and wide toe boxes. Reading through other reviews, I noticed people saying these were narrow so I opted in for "Wide" and glad I did. If you have a wide foot or are use to wide toe boxes (Vivo or XERO) I suggest going wide. I typically fit 10.5-11- my NB are 10.5 Wide and fit perfectly.

Mostly faithful...mostly :P
While MOSTLY faithful to the Minimus line, this rendition has a slightly narrower toe box but is not terribly confining. I do feel this shoe is a bit slimmer through the arch as well. Upside it seems sturdier than the v1 and i'm pretty sure the sole will withstand more of a beating...we'll see. Still fairly flat but not a true 0. Not sure the original was either.

The size runs small
Several reviewers have noted these run small and I found the same thing. I normally wear a 10.5 in just about any shoe but ordered size 11 in these Minimus shoes thanks to the reviews. They fit perfectly.

Not typical of the Minimus brand.
This is a narrow shoe, my wide is more like a regular. It is also shorter than expected, order a size up. It has a molded foot bed, which Minimus never had. It has a very stiff sole that doesn't flex well and there is a ledge to the heel that catches and messes up my gait. I exclusively wear Minimus and this doesn't have any of the features I expect.

Minimus cushioning
There definitely was a minimus amount of cushion when it came time for a walk. Compared to other New Balance shoes, these felt like a different brand when it came to comfort when walking some distance. As for style these look great. The fit was good too. I bought a wide size due to reviews stating they are narrow. Glad I did. Picked these up on sale. I probably would've returned them if not. Nice shoes I guess for going to the store or weight training at the gym as long as you're in a relatively stationary position, don't plan on any cardio.

Light, minimal and sturdy.
Love this tennis, they are as you would expect, perform great, feel comfortable and this minimus approach is light, flexible, sturdy for lifting and I bought the wide version that fits my feet great, definitely recommend of you do cross training, CrossFit and gym.
