Review: Good knives. - These knives are made in China, but with VG10 Japenese steel. They have a hard core (62+ Rockwell), with a softer (10 Rockwell) core. They cut well. It's quite a thick blade, nbut cuts well and stays sharp (though treat them nicely.). My family love these, we have several. They mistreat them terribly, but they last well.

These knives are made in China, but with VG10 Japenese steel. They have a hard core (62+ Rockwell), with a softer (10 Rockwell) core. They cut well. It's quite a thick blade, nbut cuts well and stays sharp (though treat them nicely.). My family love these, we have several. They mistreat them terribly, but they last well.

This knife stayed sharp for one or two uses. It is a substandard product for which I paid much too much money. I would not recommend it to anyone.
