CARD Travel Adapter 4-Pro (Type C+3 USB Ports) (Black)

I have had this for a few years and I travel a lot around the globe. It is excellent. Lightweight, has the plugs built in for all countries and I can charge multiple items all at once. I have even used the piggy back plug to connect all USB devices and another adapter on top. Now my wife also has one for our travels.

I've been traveling for 2 months with this as my *only* charger / adapter for laptop, tablet, phone, and various electronics. Overall, it's been a great device as it has allowed me to leave my bulky and heavy adapters at home, also doubles as a travel adapter. For this functionality alone, I would give this 5 stars, however, there are a few negatives: - $90 for an adapter is a bit expensive.. but I think it was worth it for me at least. - The charger plugs into from it's flat side, which means that it can be difficult to fit into tight spaces and sometimes covers adjacent plugs. - The protective back panel must be taken off whenever you want to move the plugs in or out of the base, which gets a bit annoying when you're doing this often (packing it into your backpack, for example). - Personally, I havent had a use for all 4 ports at a time. I would have preferred a slimmer, lighter device with less ports, probably 2. Overall, recommend this device highly. My initial concern was that it would not be able to power my macbook pro 13" (2019), which takes 60 W, but it seems to be totally sufficient. It charges only about 75% as fast as the charger that comes with my laptop, but holds a full charge when using the laptop. For me this is fine.

UPDATE: This worked fine on 110v plugs, but I am now on 220v and it overheats when charging my laptop. After less than 10 minutes, it starts to turn on and off repeatedly. Huge disappointment considering I will be traveling Europe for at least a year, now I have to buy a regular charger also which defeats the purpose of buying this. Happy so far. I am able to charge my laptop, phone, GoPro and battery backup all at the same time. The weight is a little heavy compared to other universals, but I'm sure the high power usb is a major factor in that. Compared to my old universal and laptop charger, this is slightly less than both together so still an upgrade. -1 star because it is a bit expensive, but mostly because while traveling, many plugs have 1 socket and a switch next to it, so this won't fit properly some places. Minor issue since you can buy a socket extender most places for $1 or so, but going left to right instead of up and down will cause some issues. If it was designed to stick out a little from the wall, but then it wouldn't stay in place as well. Overall, I would probably buy again, but just purchased recently. Will update if I find more issues.

I was looking for a product to combine my usb-c MacBook Pro charger and multi port usb wall charger, and this CARD adapter fits the bill. The usb-c port supports 45w, which is enough for my 2017 13” MacBook Pro. I’ve also tested with a 15” MacBook Pro, and while obviously slower than charging with the included Apple 89w adapter, it works well enough and is more than worth the weight and size savings. The international plugs conveniently flip in and out and the spare fuse is a nice touch. No complaints so far after limited use. I plan to use the adapter on a Europe trip next month and will report back if any problems arise.

I usually don't write product reviews, but I've been using the Card4 for a little less than a year now and haven't gone back to my old charger once-- even when I'm not traveling. Sure, the clipping cover to the back doesn't feel like the sturdiest construction, and it did not play nice on some plugs in Morocco, but overall this thing is incredible. It's compact, offers multiple USB ports in addition to replacing my Macbook power brick, and cleverly transforms to fit any plug without having to stack flimsy adapters.

Works great! I'm able to keep a 15" MacBook Pro charged with this.

I was very excited for this product and it was so beautifully thought out and looked great on arrival but very quickly went down hill. I switch 2 USB-As from my Epicka to this and then plugged in a USB-C from my anker to this for my laptop. I got a message for my laptop saying it wasn't providing enough power and to switch to the power supply provided to the laptop so there goes the USB-C as an alternative to my laptop charge. Then i cam to pull out the USB-As they were both tight so i pulled with a bit of energy and it came out with the little blue thing in the adapter stuck to it, same with the second one so both ports are now broken. This is all within 15 minutes of opening it. Great idea but outcome was a let down. Still 2 stars because i still have a universal adapter out of it and a usb-c that i can use for my phone.

As others have mentioned, the USB C port is powerful enough to charge a 13" 2018 MacBook Pro. A bit pricey, but worth it, since it replaces my old travel adapter and my laptop charger, and lets me travel a little lighter. I also like that this sits more flush with the wall than the usual travel adapter style, which is good for preventing the adapter from falling out of loose outlets.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. I replaced one that I had with a new one (I stupidly lost the previous one). The first time I used it, i plugged in a few devices, and went to sleep. I woke up to a burning smell and found that the thing was literally on fire next to my bed, with an incredibly pungent electrical fire smell. I have tried to get in touch with the manufacturer (3 times), but they have not replied. THIS PRODUCT IS DANGEROUS - they need to do a recall on their production run. I never had an issue with previous units, that is what is so frustrating. I am a loyal customer (or I was) until the thing nearly killed me! Photos of the burned our unit attached. DO NOT BUY.

The idea is great. I was very excited for this product given that I am backpacking in 2 months while working remotely. However, the charger stopped working suddenly - the red light turns on and then immediately turns off and no power is fed to my device...
