This is the first time I have written a product review. Due to a medical issue of my own, I was unable to nurse my daughter beyond 3 months. Even though I purchased a higher-quality dairy formula, she broke out in a severe, raised rash. The Dr. had us switch to a sou formula. Again, I purchased a high-quality brand. She had the same reaction. With no other choices left, my daughter started Elecare formula. It is dairy free and soy free. The ingredient list made me cringe . . . and the smell was awful. After 3 months of being on Elecare, a friend of mine told me about the newly-released Happy Baby formula. Her baby also got rashes from dairy but tolerated the Happy Baby formula well.I decided to buy some and see what happened. My 6 month old daughter immediately ate twice as much as she did with the Elecare- because the Happy Baby formula actually tasted good to her! It was cute to see her cup her hand around the bottle and close her eyes. I was wondering if she would break out in the raised hives/rash- and she didn't! I thought it was a fluke and that, within 24 hours, surely she would have some sort of reaction still. Nope! This stuff is AMAZING. I know it's because of the prebiotics in it. I love the list of ingredients. Another perk: her skin is even BETTER on the Happy Baby formula than it was in Elecare. She didn't have a rash on Elecare anymore, but she was dry. She also wouldn't eat more than 2/3 ounces at a time and she stayed the same weight for about two and a half months. After only 2 weeks on the Happy Baby formula, she gained almost 2 pounds. This isn't because she was over eating... but because she was finally just eating! She had her 6 month appointment and with the 2 pound gain, she is at the 55% range for weight for her age. She is thriving. She is also SO happy. No tummy troubles at all. I am telling you- this formula is liquid gold! It also isn't just a coincidence. I ran out of the Happy Baby formula for a day and tried some of the other high-quality dairy formula to see if it was simply a case of "outgrowing the dairy issue." Nope! She had tummy pain, cried, and broke out... so I didn't give her more than 1 bottle of that stuff.I may not be able to breast feed this time around, but at least I don't have any guilt giving my daughter the Happy Baby formula. Not only does she love the taste, she is thriving! Thank you for creating this formula!

From the wife:10/10 would recommend!After reading these reviews I’m really surprised at the complaints about the foam. It says on the container heat the water up first, and although it is a little foamy as long as you are using good bottles it really shouldn’t affect your baby.. it’s not like it’s big bubbles. (I use mam bottles in case anyone wants to try them) ...I would highly recommend this formula to anyone!! As hard as breastfeeding is this day in age and all of the pressure mommas get...My baby is breast + formula and this is the third formula we’ve tried and it’s definitely made our baby a happy baby! First formula was lactose free - smelled terrible, his poop was greenish with it. He was full so I was happy( due to low supply bf’ing, I was on the fed is best train) It was so hard to find though! And also - why did it smell so bad? Couldn’t stand his breath or burps after. Second formula smelled better, was milk based but supposed to be easy on his digestive system.. this formula turned my happy full baby into a fusspot! And his poop was dark green almost black! Pediatrician recommended organic and to do some research and we found this one. Baby is full, not fussy, it doesn’t smell bad, and his poop is way closer to breastfed (mustard yellow and seedy) he may be at that sweet spot with sleep but he’s even sleeping a little longer at night! I told my husband if I struggle pumping when I go back to work I won’t feel so terrible if I have to quit breastfeeding a little earlier because this formula is THAT GOOD! (Very detailed and tmi review but formula and nutrition is so important.Hopefully this helps anyone on the fence of trying this :) )

Got this about a month ago to help bridge the gap while breastfeeding. The boy has a large appetite, and has been cluster feeding so it was very difficult to keep up with my supply. I was worried that he may refuse formula since he was EBF for almost 3 months at the time, but he doesn't seem to mind this at all and there have been no problems with digestion.I did a lot of research in order to avoid all the extra/unnecessary ingredients that a lot of brand-name formulas have, not to mention the emerging research of finding things like arsenic/lead in baby formula (absolutely insane!). Make sure to do your research, folks!!!I do want to note, I understand that some women just don't or can't produce milk, or there is some kind of medical issue involved with either baby or momma...BUT... breastfeeding is always the most ideal route to nourish your baby (antibodies, etc). So if you need to turn to formula, whatever the reason may be, please be sure to do the research and really take a hard look at what's on the ingredient list.
