Wish I had found these before other sippy cups. Forget straws and spouts this is the way to go.
Okay like every other confused soul I had my doubts this cup would work, until I saw these and did some investigating I had never heard of WOW cups. These seem to be similar but more affordable. My 2 1/2 year old had recently literally chewed off the straw from his second sippy cup. So obviously it was time to try something else. He can drink unassisted from a regular cup but well anyone with a toddler knows that temper, excitement or just for the heck of it will pop up and the cup can be thrown for any reason. Sigh, liquid everywhere. I've tried the traditional spout cups. Never liked those for two reasons. One being that no matter who made them the claim that they do not leak was just wrong. Any time the cup was on it's side (and believe me it's in that position a LOT) it would have a steady slow drip. Not good if the liquid was juice or milk. The second thing I didn't like was the snap on and off lid. That little stinker figured that out real quick and thought it great fun to separate the top from the cup and SPLASH everywhere. And lord help us all when he got ticked and threw the thing, without fail the lid would pop off from the force of the landing and SPLASH. This is why we moved to the sippy cup with straws. On plus side those twisted and snapped on so the top coming off was never an issue. However these too leak. And by this point the crumb snatcher has figured out that if he turns cup upside down he can make it rain. GRRRRR but as we had never heard of this style cup we thought that was the best we could do. Like I said UNTIL the goober chewed through the second straw. His father and I debated simply going with a regular cup as like I said he can drink from that no issue, but the reality is he's just still to clumsy. So being a Prime member addict I hope on here. These cups popped up. Even after the well written reviews explaining how water gets out I still did not understand it clearly. But I liked that there was no straw or spout. Sure it says leak/spill proof but I wasn't hopeful despite the many positive reviews (and yes, I do read the negative reviews to see what the common gripe might be. I decided to be aware of the gripes but ignore them as a decision in purchasing). We ordered them. They arrived yesterday while Destructo was at preschool. I had his snack and milk (in new cup) all set up when he got home.He was not amused by this new style cup. And immediately handed it to his older brother to exchange for his cup; his 15 year old brother couldn't really figure it out either. I laughed and told them both how it worked. Neither looked convinced. I gave the rugrat the cup back, he tried to drink nothing. He handed it to brother. Brother gave it back, I explained again he need to suck and tilt (with the straw cup he had learned NOT to tilt the cup it just came up) and tilted the cup up for him as he tried to drink. Nothing. I laughed told he'd figure it out and walked out of kitchen to sit on the couch. He followed me and by the time he made it to the couch he was drinking. It's a hit. He used it for the rest of the day/night and again at breakfast this morning. Now let's talk about leak/drip through status. When they arrived I filled it with water (taking one reviewer's advice not to over fill) I keep the liquid below where the bottom of the 'screwing' of the lid is. I turned the thing upside down (over sink of course) and shook it like I was making a martini. NOTHING came out. I laid it on it's side and let it sit like that for 10 minutes and nothing leaked. I swear I got so excited you'd think I had found some money. I called his dad downstairs and was like it doesn't leak. He was skeptical took it and shook. Damme if he didn't get it to leak some. I decided that it's because he's stronger than I am. So poo on him. It's not like Monkey is going to be able to shake it that hard. I'm stronger than he is and it doesn't leak when I shake it so I dub it leak proof. Of course we all tried to drink from the cup ourselves and duh I feel so slow for not understanding the other reviewers descriptions. I think the tab in the middle is what kept throwing me.The coloured material under my lip lifts up when I apply the sucking and tilting to drink and the liquid pours our right there. The stopper in the middle obviously controls the flow, which is fairly light and slow. Would make an older child annoyed but for a little one who isn't used to drinking from a free standing cup no biggie at all. They break down really easy to place in the top rack of the dishwasher. And as my older son said once he doesn't need the top anymore the bottom is a perfect kid cup. Will be ordered two more of these.

Forget whatever other sippycup your're considering and buy these. You wont be sorry.
Okay. So here is the skinny on these cups. Do you have a child that is off the bottle or close to leaving the bottle? If you answered yes, then eliminate all ideas or notions for sippy cups from your mind and buy these. These are awesome no spill cups that rely on a child's natural instinct to press down with their mouth on the lip of a cup when they drink. 1 week after switching to these, our toddler was able to take sips from regular open cups/glasses. They don't spill when dropped or knocked over...although, falling from a high enough distance will cause a spill. These cups aren't miracles when it comes to no spill. Given enough force...liquid will come out. This is true of ANY sippycup. But during the normal every day to day routine, these can definitely be considered spill free. The difference here is: this cup, by design utilizes the child instinctual behavior to teach them how to drink normally out of a cup. Your standard spouted sippy cup is just a bottle with a harder nipple. These cups are well designed, well engineered. I don't often write reviews...but these are pretty awesome. You will see people make complaints about these cups. They fall into one of two categories. I'll address them individually: 1. THESE ARENT SPILL/LEAK PROOF. Yes, because when I buy a sippy cup, I expect the cup to magically cancel out the laws of motion, force, physics, momentum and intertia. The fact that this cup does not suspend the laws of the natural world when it comes to matter, and its Newtonian movement has totally made me rethink my purchase of these cups.No. Sorry. That's a ridiculous notion. Given enough force, and depending on the angle of the hit...fluid may come out. No sippy cup in the world can meet this impossible standard. Ignore reviews making this complaint. 2. OMG, I DIDNT KNOW THE RUBBER PART CAME OFF, THERE'S ALL THIS MOLD. All I can say to this is: how were you allowed to move out of your parent's house? I mean, seriously. These are your kids. You didnt look at this product, WASH IT COMPLETELY before using it? You didnt read the little card that came with it that explained how the top came off? Seriously? Anything will mold if you don't clean it, and it's in a place where moisture can be trapped. That's like, what... 3rd grade science class? Come on. This is a solid product. If you have half a clue, you'll be able to see why. Ignore the naysayers! Buy these cups for your toddler. =)

The perfect toddler cup.
I love these cups! My son is 15 months old and loved drinking through a straw since he was 6 months old. Unfortunately the cups we have that have straws all spill or leak and it doesn’t teach kids how to drink out of a real cup. This cup is a game changer. No leaks or spills, my son is so proud of himself when he gets a drink, it’s lightweight and he is able to hold it with no problem. It’s the step in the right direction in teaching him how to drink out of a cup and if he drinks juice or milk, it’s not just sitting on his teeth causing cavities like straws and sippy cups will do. Will be purchasing again!

Tough cups
We love these cups! They haven’t spilled and are still working well 6 months later. They come apart so you can clean them nicely. My daughter throws them and they have held up to her abuse.

Easy to use for toddler and no spills, dishwasher approved
No spills and no sippy top which is great for my 2 year old! It seems to keep the temperature cold for a while and love that it is dishwasher safe. Also appreciate the pretty appearance of the pink and purple colors! So far this has survived toddler throwing and dishwasher use well and appears to be of good quality. My toddler has no issue with grip, either.

Durable toddler cup!
My 2 year old loves these cups ! He has to use them at his preschool for breakfast & lunch & they’re the closest thing to a real “adult” cup (like a solo cup) that he’s gonna get at school (he has gotten it in his head that he is going to only drink out of big boy cups like his mom & dad when he’s at home), so these are comparable for him 😅 the colors are pretty & we’ve ordered a ton of these over the years between him & my daughter when she was little . The cups are a thick plastic & heavy duty ! Our son left his in the yard & his dad actually ran it over on accident & to my surprise, it didn’t crush it ! The lid was a tiny bit cracked but it was still connected to the cup & the cup itself was still intact ! His dad drives a big, heavy lifted truck that crushes anything it runs over, so for this cup to survive (although unusable), I am impressed ! If you want a durable toddler cup, this is it !

Excellent!!
My family has been using these cups for years, and they are about the best around for not leaking. To clarify, they do still leak here and there, but are still way better than other cups. Leaking occurs mostly around the rim, where the child drinks out of, but pretty much only happens if the cup is dropped, or slammed down, and usually a small amount of water. One strange occurrence, however, is that once in a great while when the cup is dropped onto a hard floor, the silicone insert on top will pop off, and water gushes out at a pretty good rate. Now, an even less common occurrence from dropping is that once in a huge, great while, the entire white lid will pop right off, despite being thoroughly screwed on. Now, as you can imagine, this causes a huge mess, but doesn't happen very often. These cups are a bit of a pain to handwash, but I'd like to address the mold issue in other reviews. My kids very rarely drink anything other than water or milk, and I have noticed that the mold only forms if we have had juice or milk in the cups, and the cup goes missing for several weeks. My experience with these cups indicates that all the angry reviews of moldy cups, and claims of children being placed in danger must be a result of giving children milk or juice in these cups, and reusing them for several weeks, without being washed or checked, something I wouldn't even do with my own water bottle, so I believe there is some user error involved. The area that grows mold can be checked in a split second by simply lifting the edge of the colored silicone insert real quick, so this makes me further place the blame for undetected mold infestations on the users, and not this fine product. In addition, another early indicator of mold is the clear o-ring becoming discolored. So, you really have to ignore both common sense, and early warning signs in order to have your children drinking out of a mold-infested cup of this type. My impression is that these cups are great for allowing kids to have their water right there with them throughout the day, and when using this cup with just water, a regular washing will prevent mold just fine. In fact, even when we've found cups that have been missing for months, say, under the couch, or car seat, they still don't have mold in them if they were used with water. My advice is that if you are planning on using these cups for milk or juice, also plan on completely tearing them down and washing them later that same day. Otherwise, you will guaranteed have mold within a few days. These cups make a nearly perfect environment for mold to thrive in, so we need to stay a step ahead of it. As far as being easy to hold, this could be worse, but some handles would be nice. The smaller cups of this type have an option for handles, but the larger ones don't seem to be available with handles, which is unfortunate. Overall, this is a great product!!

A Must-Have No-Spill Cup!
These cups are a must-have for families with little ones! They truly help prevent spills, which makes life so much easier. I also love how easy they are to clean—they come out great in the dishwasher and are simple to take apart and reassemble. Durable, convenient, and mess-reducing. Highly recommend!

Used by an adult to prevent spills on computer
Technically it will drip if you really try to force it, but you really have to put in effort. Easy to use, good drink size.

Our go to cups
Our fav cups! Easy clean, no fuss! We have many sizes and colours. We’ve continued to buy as gifts from infant to toddler, they last! Only leak minimally if dropped from higher surface- as I would expect.
