Went great for four feet. Then stopped. Refused to cut anymore carpet. Even when trying to start a new cut, it seemed like the blade was too dull to actually cut it. I didn't expect high-quality due to the reviews here, but I expected to be able to finish cutting the carpet.Returning it.
