Very well made and very strong
Strong and sturdy and somewhat flexible I do think this would work really well as a surf rod but honestly I've been using it catch lake trout and it's worked just fine

Disappointed
I used it 3 times and it fell apart I am very disappointed in this item waste of money thought it was a really good rod until 3 of my guides fell off

Check for damages before the return window closes
First order should have failed quality control. The ceramic ring at the tip is cracked. Packaging was pretty good so the damage was definitely before shipment. Had to get it replaced. The replacement came fast. No major damage. Minor scratches on some plastic parts but overall good. Was this suppose to come with a removable spike at the base? I didn't get it. The quality can't compare to my 15 ft 2-piece ugly stik but it's telescopic, compact, and lighter. Haven't tested it yet.

Well they are Nice looking fishing poles with looks like aluminum reel seats and seem fairly sturdy & are Collapsible for travel. I have Not used them yet but I'm glad to have them in case I ever get to go fishing, GOD Bless.

Top notch rod
I got the 13 ft for my salt water reel and It is perfect for my need. Handle is a bit long to cast from a small boat if you are with other friends but is perfect for shore and to hang on boat. Rod is heavy-duty and little expensive but beautiful and worth it. Love the last eyelet close to the handle, foldable (preventing to break) because it is the biggest eyelet. Not too heavy, sturdy and the most important part : QUALITY! Will recommend to any fishing buddy that is ready to invest in a good quality rod if they want to catch the big fishes: Use to catch musky, big pike, big bass, ect... you name it. 10/10 - Shipped fast, well packaged and arrived on time in perfect condition.
