WOW! These are fantastic!!!! I build and run model engines. These are great for lighting my alcohol burners to run my Stirling and Flame licker engines. I have Diabetic Neuropathy, and my fingers don't work well for squeezing triggers. These have very easy to use controls. Very well made and they look great and work great!! Love'em!

I have a few other butane lighters. They all work pretty well. This one is no exception. You fill it up, set the flame height, and hit the igniter. Now you have a torch for igniting almost anything. almost too much for a candle, but great for lighting a grill or stove. The longer pen style keeps your hand away from the flame.The electric lighter is one I had never tried before. It is rechargeable and comes with the power cable. You extend the electrodes with a switch and then hit the power button. An arc is established, and you apply it to whatever it is you want to burn. It is not as effective as a flame for some jobs but makes a good lighter for candles without melting the wax like a torch. I think it would have other uses in high wind applications but may be limited in effectiveness. You do get a lot of ignition time from a single charge.So they both work really well. At $17 for the pair, they are fairly priced.

I love them both. The rechargeable one is used daily on my fire place. Perfect fire starter everytime.

The rechargeable lighter seems to be functional but the torch is not working properly. When I put the flame against glass it cuts out instead of a continuous flame. Defeats my whole purpose for purchasing.

This works really well to get fires going without getting burnt and it doesn't blow out! Good value.

Theses lighters are wonderful, they light everything you need a spark for. The electric lighter could keep a charge a little longer but it works great.
