I love these brass water hose splitter. The best thing about this one is the handles. They are easy to turn on and off and rarely ever leak. They are made of high quality materials thay are made to last a life time.

If you’re looking for a simple, durable way to run two hoses from one spigot, this brass garden hose splitter gets the job done well. The first thing that stands out is the solid brass construction it feels sturdy and much more reliable than plastic alternatives. It has a bit of weight to it, which is usually a good sign for longevity, especially if you leave it attached outdoors.Installation is quick and hassle-free. It screws onto a standard 3/4” GHT faucet without any issues, and the threading is smooth enough to get a tight seal without struggling. I didn’t notice any leaks after attaching it, which is always a concern with splitters. The included shutoff valves for each outlet are a big plus they turn easily but still feel firm, giving you good control over water flow to each hose.

It seems like I'm always looking for a better hose splitter. Well, this is it. It's solid, the handles are metal instead of small plastic and the splitter is made of brass. There's not much more I could add. After using it for the first season, it looks and works like it was still new. ...and the price was right!

Update: 07/10/25 Finally got around to using the ball valves on my sprayer rig. Only had to tighten a couple connections to stop leaking. These ball valves first time use worked well and as designed on my system sprayer. Longevity: Meh remains to be seen as they say. Installed and appear to function as designed. Not put any water through these yet to test the ball valves and how these work in the field. Metal construction appears to be quality material and the ball valve action is very smooth. Will report on these again after field testing. This item is hooked to a 15 gallon water tank. Plan to use the spray wand or the spray manifold depending on what is required. This double valve will let me choose which device I need water displaced. Ease of installation could not have been easier. Worm clamp and standard what hose connectors.

The inlet is .67 diameter but restricted by the gasket which has 5/8 (.63) diameter. That's pretty much as big as you can get. Don't forget most water supply 'piping' is only 1/2 diameter and then faucet 'flow' designs are even more restrictive! The most important 'takeaway' here is the outlets are only 5/16 (.32) diameter which is MORE restrictive than most 'piping' and faucet 'flow' designs. SO the FLOW advantage of the super large inlet is LOST by the restrictive size of the outlets ball valves. Also by the numbers; 5/8 is ~.31 square inches diameter while .32 is ~ .077 square inches diameter which THEN YIELDS ONLY ~1/4 [.25] of the inlet flow [in my case I am going to use on my Clothes Washing machine to get HOT WATER flow on both the hot & cold hoses so works great] The Quality appears to be OUTSTANDING! Almost all nonbrass parts are NOT magnetic so are a type of stainless steel, EXCEPT THE HANDLE SCREWS (under the plastic caps). This includes the BALL valves, the handles and even the inlet collar retaining ring. Realize if this retaining ring was steel and rusted thru, it would release the inlet fitting and you would get full blast water. The BALLS will continue to turn easier and seal well overtime because they won't rust and tear up the internal seals.

I love this hose splitter!! My slicker is on the side of the house, so I can both power wash, or water my plants on the front porch, and have the hose reach the backyard as well! It’s super sturdy, good cast material so it won’t break! Worth every penny.

A simple Y splitter for a garden system. The instillation was simple, the part is well made and everything sealed without tightening over hand tight. This part replaced a part from my local hardware store that had cast brass parts to open and close the valves, it was so poorly made one handle broke without much effort. The steel handle in this part should avoid that problem and are, unlike the old part, large enough to make opening and closing the individual sides easy.
