I want some simple binocular glasses for watching a large screen tv from 10 feet.  will these work?

Ten feet is too close for a "large" screen TV because the field of view might just cover a 32 inch TV screen. But it can certainly focus to less than 10 feet so it might be useful for reading sport scores.

Are they good for watching TV or computer screen from 10 feet?  Or at least 20 feet?

I didn’t like these glasses.  They were heavy and did not magnify well like binoculars should.  I bought this to see better from a distance of a show in a theater.  Did not help as expected.

How good are they for night sky, stars, etc?

Actually these are great for astronomy. I use them and everyone I have let look through them to think they are great as well.

First off you don't have to hold them. Second for older eyes it gives just enough boost to open up the sky. When I am out imaging with my big telescope, I will lay back in my reclining camping chair and put these on and scan the sky. Wow! You get a wonderful perspective of the constellations and open clusters. I will star hop from one constellation to another. I find that placing the glasses a little lower on my nose allows me to look over them so I can see where I am looking at. I have often run across something I did not know, opened SkySafari and found it there, then listened to the description of the star cluster or asterism while looking at it thru these glasses.

Yes, there is some wicked field curvature at the edges of the field of view. You need to focus on the center and learn to ignore the edges of the view, once you do that they are really wonderful to use to scan the night sky.
