Great monitor sound is just ok
Works well, great product. Used as a monitor for a Mac Mini. Very good display but sound from speakers could be louder. Saved me a lot of money and is very portable.

Great monitor and great tech support!
I bought this monitor about 10 months ago and was very happy with it until a few weeks ago. The picture and build quality are really nice and has a built-in stand that folds out. I mostly use it as a TV screen for my Roku and Tivo but I also sometimes take it on travel with my high-end MSI gaming laptop. Both are pretty heavy but still fit in my large computer backpack. I had no complaints whatsoever until one day the monitor just died. No picture, no LED power light, nothing. I tried multiple power supplies, cables, etc. and it definitely was the monitor. I tried to contact Innoview through their web site but for some reason, their online contact form was not working so I had to contact them trough Amazon. I was expecting a ton of headaches trying to actually get a hold of Innoview's tech support and trying to get the unit replaced. I figured they would have me jump through a ton of hoops and expect me to send the dead monitor back (with me paying shipping) and would take a month or more to get the replacement. On the contrary, Innoview's tech support emailed me not more than 24-48 hours (it was a weekend as well) later, asked some basic troubleshooting questions (which I had already done), my Amazon order information and a picture of the plaque on the back with serial/ model number. Within another 24 hours, I got an email saying they were shipping me a replacement! Within a day or two after, another email with the tracking number. I am so pleased with Innoview, both the quality of their monitor but also the incredible (especially these days) experience with their tech support team! If/when I buy another "portable" monitor, it will definitely be from them again.

Simply connect the cables and it works
This is quite an excellent monitor. I chose it for its hight resolution -- almost impossible to find this quality at this size monitor. And it just worked immediately after connecting the cables. No problem holding the signal. (I had tried another brand of monitor but had to return it because it wouldn't stably retain the signal.) It's light weight and I can use it at my home office as well as take it when traveling by car for work offsite.

Must use two cables minimum. Not as advertised.
Not as advertised. Requires two cables minimum to run. Quoting the item description "Solve the multi-wire winding problem". That is inaccurate. Without a separate power cable, does not work. My PC is a Minisforum UM870. It has a USB4 port with plenty of power but cannot run both signal and power on this unit on either of the two available ports. Unlike my other portable monitor. Other than that, comes with vesa mounting holes and is recognized as 2k 180hz, Freesync, no complaints there. Picture looks bright and vivid and the display has a matt screen to reduce glare. Would work for someone looking for a large workstation screen, but keep in mind that it does not support power+signal over a single cable.

Thin, light, low-profile monitor powered by USB-PD
USB-powered? Yes please! At the end of the day, this is a very light, thin monitor, with narrow bezels, that doesn’t require a dedicated power socket. I use a UGREEN power brick that has combined 240w output, that powers both my laptop and this monitor. That is premium convenience. The specs might seem mediocre for the price, but I think the physical-format plus performance end up being something greater than the sum on paper. Maybe it’s a niche product, but it’s convenient, bright, colorful, has a decent refresh rate, and still offers UHD resolutions while powered from the same brick that powers my laptop. This is actually the second InnoView monitor I’ve bought this year. The first was a folding 15.6” monitor, that I took with me on an international trip. That impressed me enough that, when I damaged one of my 27” monitors out-of-warranty, I knew I was going InnoView for the replacement.

Not good.
InnoView 23.8" 2K 100Hz Portable Monitor - Disappointed After One Year I want to preface this review by saying the InnoView monitor arrives as advertised, the 2K display is crisp, the 100Hz refresh is smooth, and the build quality feels solid out of the box. The stand is genuinely useful, and the USB-C/HDMI connectivity options are exactly what I needed for a portable setup. I was genuinely pleased for the first months of use. Unfortunately, after just one year of light-to-moderate use, this monitor has failed entirely. Rather than becoming a reliable traveling companion for my work and gaming, it now sits in my growing heap of disposable electronics, and remarkably, it's the youngest device to fail in that pile. What went wrong: The display no longer powers on reliably. After the failure, I checked all cables, power sources, and configurations. There are no user errors here, this is a hardware failure, pure and simple. For a premium portable monitor at this price point, one year of lifespan is unacceptable, regardless of the initial feature set. The bigger picture: Portable monitors are expensive enough to justify expecting 3–5 years of reliable operation. If a display fails within the manufacturer's typical warranty period, it raises serious questions about component quality and durability standards. The fact that it lasted shorter than budget peripherals I've owned suggests a possible defect in the production batch or design. My recommendation: If you purchase this monitor, buy the extended warranty immediately. Do not rely on this device for mission-critical work, and do not assume durability that the product appears to promise. There are competitors offering similar specs with better track records, I should have researched those first. The InnoView looked like the right choice. It wasn't.

Solid performance, great value, excellent stand, portable
I’m very happy with this mostly mobile screen. It is not for travel every week, but you can take it to your secondary site and have it there for a few weeks, so that you do not need to use the small screen of your laptop or phone. The screen resolution is great. Solid stand and very slim profile along with a menu to control brightness etc make this monitor a great value for your money. The menu settings are saved for the next time you power it on. Make sure you power the monitor with the included power unit. The stand is excellent as it has a slim profile yet supports all angles in a solid way. The design of it is very impressive. Other brands of potable monitors have weak or defective stands. It will not fit in some carry on bags, may fit in a full size carry on bag with one end popping out just a touch, but still portable. I cannot imagine working on a small laptop screen for days when I travel, this one comes in very handy. I highly recommend it if you have a need for a portable one. I rarely give 5 stars, to earn it it has to be an excellent product with good value and reliability. This one earns it.

Great mobile monitor!
Great quality screen that was easy plug-n-play to set up with my laptop. Really like the lighter weight as well as the adjustable built-in stand. Appreciated the included cable options.

Bought for travelling and remote work, it is great!
I used to work on my laptop with its one puny monitor when I travelled. Then I saw that you could buy portable monitors like this and at a price like this I immediately bought one. I like that I can easily put it in a backpack with my laptop with very little added bulk and weight. Now when I travel, I have two monitors to do my work on. I was able to stand the monitor up with the included stand (I had to look back at this listing to see how they used it because I was folding it wrong) and it worked very well when I used the adapter to plug it into a power outlet while using a mini-usb to mini-usb to connect to my laptop. The only thing you need to know is that all ports for cables are on the lower right-hand side of the monitor. This worked for plugging things into my laptop easily because all of my laptop ports were on the left-hand side of my laptop. However, this means I cannot easily put the monitor on the right-hand side of my laptop. It also means all of the cords are spaghetti in front of the monitor and between the monitor and the laptop. I was usually able to get the cords to lay in a way that they did not obstruct my view, and having the monitor an inch or two to the left meant I could push most cords back behind everything. This may or may not be an issue for you.

When you get the correct model, it's awesome! EDITED REVIEW WAS 2 STARS
EDIT: so I did contact the company for aftercare on my issues, they did say I could send back the monitor for a replacement to them but ultimately I preferred to return and reorder though Amazon for the security of it and WOW This monitor is COMPLETELY different than the one I got initially.. The cover is way more user friendly, it wraps around the entire screen instead of the old one that only wrapped to the front and had no "close" to it so it opened and closed too easily if you were to transport. The monitor stands up fine with minimal cover in front of the monitor while the old one fell over constantly and had a ton of extra cover in front of the monitor. No more flashing the screen quality is better, the cord quality is better (old power cord was usb c to usb then into a power bank new cord is straight power so less problems can be caused, this package included even a microfiber cloth while the other didn't So basically, it IS a great monitor.. when you receive the correct (guessing newer) model, so make sure when you receive it you get the best quality one! OLD REVIEW BELOW Admittedly I didn't buy this long ago, but here's my opinion. As a second monitor its great, it's clear has good volume a good value for the price and I would love it for its versatility and portability! Why I don't love it? Well the case/stand it comes with just isnt up to par for me, it doesnt feel super quality to the touch. But the big issue is it is hard to stand up properly, I understand how to but when you do it as instructed it leaves a big slice of cover in front of the monitor which can be annoying and takes up space. Bigger problem is the little divit its supposed to rest in is way too soft and it often just slides out of it and falls down Even bigger problem is when I use it it'll randomly turn off and start blinking and won't stop until its unplugged and replugged in then it might work for an hour or as little as a minute before it does it again

Great Monitor for a Great Price!
This is the perfect monitor to add extra screen space for apps on my laptop. If you’re frustrated with the small screen on your laptop, grab one of these and regain the joy of dual-monitor workflow! The Good: great resolution, lightweight, very slim and fits easily alongside my laptop in its bag. Has really good brightness and easy to use controls on the side. Connects via USB-C (cable included), or HDMI (cable included). The Bad: only has connectivity ports on one side, which can make it awkward in some situations. The built-in cover/stand is a bit flimsy and provides limited options for angling the monitor. Recommendation: I love this screen and have two of them! If you travel for work or if you’re a field tech like me, this little screen makes a huge difference in productivity. I bought a nice stand for mine so I can get the angles I need when I’m working in the field, and it’s well worth the money: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0F7X8P2KW?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

"Go to" alternative if you are looking for an extended monitor
After doing a lot of research and trying multiple monitors, I am glad I came across this one on Amazon.ca. Its a fantastic product with excellent build quality. Though pricey, its worth every cent. Super simple to use, just plug the type c cable and vollah....it works. No need to download any drivers or extra software, it just works seamlessly. The Packaging is superb, comes with a charger + cable, Type C cable, mini HDMI cable, the screen itself, and a well built magnetic cover. The cherry on the cake is that you get a scratch card and a free gift. I opted for an extended warranty and 15% off on new products. so now I have 18 month std warranty +12 month additional warranty which is a peace of mind!!! + 15% off on a new monitor purchase. I love the clarity, as good as my laptop. Sound from the speakers is good enough. I haven't tried gaming yet. The functionality is superb, as its slim and portable and doesn't eat up any space on my table. the moment my work is done, I down it and it lies flat as a paper sheet. There are tons of settings inbuilt, which can be accessed via a smart toggle button on the side of the monitor. It also directly connects with your phone, though I don't feel the need to do so. but its a great feature in case you want to work or present something which is on your phone. Tip to the Seller/ Manufacturer: It would be perfect if you guys can add a complimentary mini HDMI to regular HDMI convertor. That will make this the ultimate package for customers.
