Jerome Russell Color Bomb - Caramel Colour Depositing Conditioning Mask

I wanted to leave a review for this product in case it helps others like me. I am 52, have mid-long chestnut hair which has undergone dramatic structural and condition change during peri. Much coarser, frizzy and dryer than before. I stopped getting it highlighted over 3 years ago. At first the highlights blended out the grey, but they overtook my hair and the condition was dreadful and highlights were making it worse. Not wanting to reach for real dye therefore, I have tried and thrown so many bottles of colour conditioner as they were useless. I then grabbed a bottle of the Brond version of this. First time a colour ever stuck, but it was not the right colour for me. I tried the caramel and voila. Its amazing! I apply it every 2-3 weeks and I do leave on a bit longer than instructed. I can honestly say it covers or blends out most of my greys too. I know its not supposed to, but it does. I think I have around 15% grey scattered about. The results are flawless. I now feel more confident about my hair and will continue to use this product until my hair is grey enough to make its own statement!

This is really good even though it took me 2 goes - my fault, I didn’t use enough the first time. I got the caramel one. You can see my hair was silvery blonde with pink bits in it to begin with. I followed instructions the first time and then a few hours later I added it to my dry hair making sure I used plenty especially on the bits that I obvs didn’t coat well enough the first time. I think it will blend grey and white hairs well when I touch up. Made my hair feel really nice and the smell was clean and fruity and not overpowering. Also only died hands a wee bit, barely noticable.

Leaves your hair soft, the colour is the same as the pot just a little darker if your hair is porous.

Not right colour did not work for me

Lovely colour match for my slightly fading hair, the down side is the bottle. About 20% gets stuck in the bottle as the tube inside is too short. I had to cut it open and put into another bottle with a silicone paddle... annoying
